This is a very large hotel with lots of rooms and floors. The rooms are big, comfortable beds and great furniture. Staff tried really hard although some didn't speak much English, the concierge was great and arranged transport for us. The pool is big but lots of children! The buffet breakfast was great but the dinner not worth it. Only local beer available.

The front desk staff are warm and thoughtful, the facilities are good, and the breakfast is okay. Convenient parking

Fantastic little little hotel with great service If you are looking for a genuine historical and unique hotel experience with super service — then this is the place for you. If you like hyper modern and fancy hotels with glass and concrete, stay away. Yujian No8 has a great location I’m Tunxi (Huangshan old city). Location is rated good because of it depends where you are going. If you want to visit the old city this is perfect. It is a little difficult to find the hotel if you are on your own, but we were met by hotel staff who helped with suitcases and directions. You can not drive in Tunxi old city so there are a few hundred meters to walk. There is a direct bus line from Huangshanbei railway station or you can easily use taxi. The location is very quiet and it feels like you are experiencing a jump in time. The staff is great. They do speak little English, but it’s easy to use translator apps on your phone/ if you have WeChat they also have their own account where it’s easy to communicate. The staff provided very useful information about the area and were very helpful, nice, friendly and professional. The hotel has spacious rooms and lovely public area. This is a very unique traditional hotel, with classic decor and design. The room was very clean with nice amenities. Even if the hotel is displaying historical design, it has modern and nice stuff in the rooms. Our room has bathtub and shower and also a small lounge. Very enjoyable. The overall experience with a super location for exploring the old city made this one of our most memorable stays. We can highly recommend Yujian No 8!

What made our stay here amazing wasn't only the comfortable beds, spacious room and delicious breakfast, but the wonderful manager (I believe her family name is Tan, forgive me if I forgot) and her polite and helpful staff! Firstly, our reservation was at ”SWEETOME Hotel”, but they decided they were no longer allowing foreigners to stay at their hotel (even with covid tests and green health codes). Fine, that's their ignorant decision to make, however, the problem was we were told this on arrival at check in. How unprofessional and thoughtless of them! Thankfully, Trip called around and this hotel seemed to be the only one taking foreigners, we were of course relieved. At this point our expectations were very low and I was thinking of cancelling the trip at leaving the next day, but the warmth and friendliness of the manager and all the staff we met at check-in and afterwards as well as the comfy room made us stay and enjoy Huangshan for 3 days. I'll definitely stay here again and will most definitely recommend to my friends. The location, amenities and cleanliness are also all perfect! Well deserving of 20 stars!! Thankfully that other place turned us away!

Traveled over the Chinese New Year. The hotel was clean and personnel nice. My target was going to the Yellow Mountain and it turned out to be problematic because of timing and the pandemic situation (=lack of tourists). With help of the personnel the trip finally came true. Special thanks to Miss Amber, who had a vital role in overcoming language barrier and arranging transportation. The hotel was clean and beds ok. Also, the Wifi was working fine. The breakfast was not available in the hotel. Also visited the Old Town that is in (longish) walking distance from the hotel. Can recommend the hotel for traveler on budget.

It's a very good hotel. You can feel the enthusiasm at the front desk from the moment you walk in. You are greeted and served with tea. When you check in, the front desk helped to upgrade the room type for free. The hotel is newly renovated. The facilities and decoration are very new. The rooms are very good and the bedding is pure. Made of bare cotton, it fits snugly and feels secure, and the pillow is also very comfortable. They were also kindly given a souvenir upon check-out, which is highly recommended! I have to give full marks to my stay this time. Because we were here for fun, the front desk gave us a lot of pertinent suggestions, which also made our travel plan particularly fulfilling. We also used the laundry room during our stay which was also very nice.

The room is clean and comfortable, the river view hotel, the livable city, the environment is very good, the room facilities are good, the furniture looks a bit graded, I will live here on business trips in the future, and it is convenient to take a taxi on the street.

The room is large and the equipment is newer. Xie Xiaochen at the front desk was respectful and courteous and gave me an upgrade. The room service is also very responsive and has good feedback on everything. Worthy of praise. The location of the hotel is also an advantage. It is just opposite Liyang Street, which is a street with both culture and Internet celebrities. After seeing the rapeseed flowers and Huizhou architecture during the day, it is perfect to come here to experience the night and lights. The breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western, and the quality is pretty good. It's a pity that the milk is of a certain brand (I had adverse reactions after drinking it in other hotels) and it can't be paired with bread. It would be even better if the bread was more European style (not sweet). The only thing I have to say is the parking lot setting. Our hotel guests actually paid for it (no one told us how to scan the code to enter and exit). It not only affected our appearance time, but also affected the entry and exit of subsequent vehicles and affected the public order. In most other hotels, the front desk asks for the license plate number and sets it up in the background so that the railing automatically releases the vehicle when it enters or exits. Convenience to guests should be the first priority a hotel should have.

The hotel where I stayed after climbing Huangshan, I stayed for two nights because I was too tired. The room size is not very big, but it is still very cozy. The wet and dry separation of the bathroom is very convenient to use. The front desk staff, room service staff, and security guards are all responsible for their duties, and the service is warm and thoughtful. There are many varieties of breakfast, including Chinese and Western food. The restaurant staff is constantly serving the guests to ensure that the guests can eat in time. The parking lot is convenient for parking, suitable for self-driving travel. If I come to Huangshan again, I will still choose this hotel.

Parking at the entrance of the hotel is very convenient and the front desk is good. There was a little accident when the charge was made. The front desk charged an extra room. I didn't find it myself. Then the front desk called the room to explain the situation and returned it to me in cash. The hotel room is very large, but the table is a little stained, the overall design has no main light, and the light at night is not strong. The bed is still soft, and people who don't like to sleep on soft beds will sleep uncomfortable. It is highly recommended to add a palm mattress that can give customers who like to sleep on hard beds an alternative. Hotel breakfast is more general, but it is enough.
