Hotel de paso, sencillo pero con lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Baño pequeño pero suficiente. Desayuno muy bueno. El chico de la recepción muy majo. Ubicación excelente para poder visitar todo a pie. Tiene también una estancia con sofas, libros y maquinas expendedoras

I stayed for 11 nights. My room was quiet, no traffic noise and the occasional sounds from other rooms stopped at a very reasonable hour. The sheets and bedding were as good as new. My room was attended to every day. The staff were professional, friendly and simpaticos :-) The hotel's location is perfect adjacent to the shady tree lined Floridablanca garden and about 7 minutes stroll to the Cathedral the historic heart of Murcia. The Universal is completely unpretentious, great value for money and I will definitely return.

Está muy bien,es barato y para el precio que cuesta la noche está fenomenal.La habitación está limpia,es cómoda,y el desayuno incluido es variado,tipo buffet.Además,la ubicación es buena,te permite desplazarte cómodamente a pie pero también hay buena conexión con transporte.

I always try to be positive, but, this was one of the poorest hotels we have stayed at.
As we approached the hotel we thought it was shut as it was so dimly lit. The receptionist wasn't positive or welcoming, reflecting the ambience in the foyer.
The bedroom was very small room and an even smaller bathroom. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. We could hear everything from the next rooms..... everything! As people came in through the night their movements and chatter resonated through our room.
The bedding smelled stale and the room had the odour of smoking.
There was a total of one electrical socket for two people by the beds, but no electrical socket by the desk and chair. The TV was so small it was virtually impossible to see from being in bed.
The one positive - the shower was warm.
If we could have left for another hotel after checking in, we would have.
In light of our experience we chose not to have breakfast, in preference using one of the cafeterias in the vicinity.
