Miyue Santorini Seaview Resort (Huizhou Huidong Shuangyuewan)

The hotel's location is excellent, and it's clean and tidy. The beach was a bit dirty, but the scenery is beautiful, and it's even more stunning now. The service is great, and the afternoon tea and evening cocktails are also very good.

This hotel in Shuangyue Bay really exceeded my expectations! I stayed at the Santorini Hotel, and the room was absolutely beautiful, haha. It was fantastic, and the service was great too. The butler service was really impressive.

I brought some clients along on this trip, hoping they'd have a great experience. So, I deliberately searched on Ctrip for a highly-rated hotel, the Miyue Santorini Seaview Resort (HuiDong Twin Moons Bay, Huizhou branch). I booked two 'Ruomu Seaview King Rooms with Private Balcony' for one night, totaling 2376.9 RMB. My experience with this hotel can be broken down into three points: 1. **Facilities and Hygiene**: The hotel is a standalone building with no gym. There's a small pool out front, about 60cm deep, only suitable for small children, and it's tiny. The photos online made it look much larger, completely misleading me into thinking it was an adult-friendly pool. The downhill path at the entrance was very dirty (due to pool water leakage), making it easy to stain white shoes. There were no other entertainment facilities. 2. **Service**: The 10th floor is where breakfast and afternoon tea are served. The service was mediocre. The 'afternoon tea' didn't actually include any tea; it was just a red, juice-like beverage and a fruit platter (with some fruit and desserts), with no options to choose from. When I asked a waitress for a cup of tea, she said there was no tea. Eventually, she reluctantly found a tea bag from a room and made me a cup. I don't blame the waitress; it's the hotel's poor amenities that are at fault. The 11th floor is for dinner, and the waitstaff's attitude was terrible. She said they closed at 9 PM. I told her we'd order enough food and then just have some drinks and chat with the clients, but she insisted they only stayed open until 9 PM and told us to go downstairs to the 10th floor if we wanted to continue, showing extreme impatience! 3. **Price**: For a hotel costing 1188 RMB a night, I thought it would be a great experience to bring friends to. Instead, there was no good service, and practically no facilities. I'm so disappointed! How can they justify such a price? I'm genuinely frustrated. We felt like total **********!

This stay was great! The staff were warm and attentive, and the hotel environment was clean and comfortable. The nearby beach was a lot of fun, and my child had a blast, especially with activities like parasailing. It's a perfect place for a family trip with kids; we had a pleasant stay and will definitely come back if we get the chance.
