After spending one night in Male, we had to go back to the airport the next day, so we chose to stay on the airport island. This hotel has relatively high ratings online. The price of more than 1,000 is indeed what everyone calls a three-star guest house, but the service is good, there is free pick-up and drop-off, and the breakfast is small but complete. We used Samann Host for a transition stop for 1-night and I was happy with the trip. Met at airport and driven promptly to the hotel. We got in late and woke-up early due to seaplane departure, but they were nice enough to make two breakfast takeaway bags for us. I'd recommend.
