The staff at the Three Swans are the hotel’s real asset. The property is 500 years old, but the interior has been sympathetically modernized in the signature style of the Coaching Inn Group. Our room was compact, but well equipped and maintained. The restaurant features good modern British cuisine although we found the wines somewhat overpriced. Parking is no problem. The hotel has half a dozen parking spaces and a large public car park is adjacent.

Delicious fresh, tasty roast dinner in lovely restaurant. Bonus that kids eat completely free every Sunday and the kids menu was perfect for our kids aged 10 and 8, really good value. Roast came with loads of veg and meat plus cauliflower cheese. Would certainly return!

The Three Swans was a lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable. I had asked for a quiet room away from the road at the front and that is what I got. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, nothing was too much trouble. I put the green marker on the door when we went out, indicating that we did not need clean sheets/towels. This resulted in no-one coming into the room so the tea/coffee was not replenished; however, I went to reception and was given all I needed.
