Wonderful cozy hotel! Stayed here with my daughter. We had a double room, lovely and warm on a cold day. Had breakfast in restaurant which had a beautiful christmas tree, and buffett type/ cooked breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day!
Staff were polite and helpful when i asked for extra pillow it was delivered at my room within minutes.
Will certainly book with them again, absolutely loved it!

Just stayed the one night in Golden Lion hotel in Hunstanton and had an excellent experience all round. Hotel is recently refurbished to a very high standard with lovely modern bathrooms etc. Staff are all very friendly and a credit to the hotel. We will definitely be returning!

We popped in on a rainy day for a cup of tea with our Cockapoo. We were told she was very welcome and the three of us were taken through to the bar area. We ordered a pot of tea but unfortunately had just missed the breakfast menu. The owner was in the bar area at the time and accommodated our request. We ordered breakfast muffins which were delicious made with good quality produce. The ambience in the bar area is very relaxing with sofas, log fire and tables overlooking the sea and all staff are welcoming. Definitely worth a visit to stay at the hotel or pop in for a drink and cake from their menu.

Had a fantastic Sunday evening meal, before going to the princess theatre to watch a show. Having received a warm welcome from the duty manager “Charlie” the great service continued by all the waitresses. The Sunday roast was excellent, especially the generously served beef. The new owners have done a great job with the refurbishment, modern relaxed and welcoming. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back

What a fantastic stay that was! I was organising international trip from overseas for group of 16 person ( 8 double rooms) and luckly had pleasure to deal with this hotel and women called Trish. I deal with hotels quite often,but this person made my job super easy and provided quality stay for my group. Despite many changes in our booking everything was sorted without any dealy.All staff in hotel is polite and professional. Hotel itself just been refurbished to pretty high standard,and even so,despite location and condition of the hotel we still had very good deal it was worth every penny wepaid for it. Me and my group would defo recommend this hotel and wery likely we come back here with anotjer group soon ;) Cheers and greetings from Lithuania! (especially to Trish :D )

Went for a birthday meal on the 18th April 2024 very disappointing had to wait a long while,finally when recieved It was cold, With new refurbished I think the bar restaurant is not thought out just yet and chef needs some organising But the staff was amazing and the manager was really professional And sorted the matter, Will I return afraid not in the future

Rooms are to an excellent standard, lovely sea view with added sunset! Food was fresh and tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful, made me feel very welcome. Will definitely be back again. Very handy for town and amusements, with private parking at rear.

Had a lovely meal at the Golden Lion yesterday evening. Five people, four different meals. Slight mix up with order but quickly sorted. My Red Thai Linguine was absolutely gorgeous. Both the Risotto and Fish and Chips were equally thoroughly enjoyed. Really lovely food, will definitely be back soon. Many thanks.
