Xanadu Club Makadi Bay - High Class All Inclusive

Absolutely incredible stay! I would highly recommend this resort to anyone planning a trip to Hurghada. Xanadu Club Makadi Bay is easily one of the finest high-class hotels in the region, offering a true luxury experience from the moment you step in. The dining experience was exceptional. The main restaurant offers a fantastic variety of delicious, high-quality food that changes daily, so you never get bored. On top of that, the à la carte restaurants were absolutely amazing, serving top-tier dishes with beautiful presentation and exquisite flavors. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the service. The entire staff operates at a level that is above and beyond. Everyone we met was incredibly polite, respectful, and always greeted us with a genuine smile. They are truly dedicated to making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, and their hospitality is highly appreciated. The pools are pristine, crystal clear, and wonderfully maintained, and the resort's grounds and gardens are beautiful and spotless. The aqua park is a lot of fun, but if there is one weak spot in the entire resort, it would have to be the aqua park area and the wave pool. They both feel a bit outdated and are in desperate need of renovation to match the ultra-luxury, high-class standard of the rest of the hotel. Also, the bar in that specific area is quite basic and could definitely use an upgrade in quality and service. Despite that minor point, we were absolutely delighted with our vacation. We had a wonderful time, felt extremely pampered, and we will definitely be returning to Xanadu Club Makadi Bay for our next holiday!

Excellent service , delicious food , clean pools and amazing beach

I think I spent one of the best and most relaxing week of my life here. The staff is very nice, everybody always smiling. I would especially like to highlight one person who made me smile every day. Ahmed Farag is the nicest waiter I have ever met. Thank you very much. I spent a very valuable time here with my family.🩷

I would be careful about stating what Ahmed “felt” or his motives as a fact. A stronger review is to describe the behaviour you experienced and how it came across to you. 1-Star Review Our stay was extremely disappointing, and the main reason was the experience we had with Mr. Ahmed Mohsen, Assistant Director, and the front desk team. We booked more than 10 rooms and spent a significant amount of money at this resort. Instead of feeling valued as guests, it felt as though we were being nickel-and-dimed at every opportunity. Every request seemed to turn into a discussion about additional charges, exceptions, or limitations. Rather than looking for ways to help, the front desk appeared focused on finding ways to charge more and provide less. What made the experience particularly frustrating was the attitude we encountered. It often felt as though because our group had secured a favourable room rate, we were treated as less important guests. Whether intentional or not, the message we received was that we were not deserving of the same level of service and hospitality as other guests. That is not what anyone expects when booking a luxury resort. After years away from Egypt, I returned as a Canadian visitor hoping to create great memories with family and friends. Instead, I spent a considerable amount of time dealing with unnecessary issues, disputes, and constant resistance from the front desk. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, not making them feel like a burden. The most disappointing part is that these issues could have easily been avoided with a more guest-focused approach. Rather than trying to find reasons to say no or charge extra, management should focus on customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. Unfortunately, the actions and attitude displayed by Mr. Ahmed Mohsen and the front desk team overshadowed the entire experience. We will not be returning, and I would not recommend this property based on how our group was treated.

We had a really good week at the hotel. All member of the staff is very polite and friendly. There are cleanliness everywhere. On the beach we had a very very special treatment from Ahmed Farag. He is the best. He smiled all day, brings us everything without asking when he saw empty glasses. Always have some friendly words for us. We never met as good staff as he, that kindness he has. He treats us like a friend, not just a guests.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and cleaned every day. The food was delicious with a huge variety, so there was always something new to try. The pools and beach were beautiful, clean, and never felt overcrowded. We stayed in room 8141, and it was always perfectly maintained thanks to Ahmed Gaballah, who took great care of our room. What truly made this place special was the staff. Every single employee was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and made our holiday unforgettable. Special thanks to Ahmed Frag at the bar for the amazing drinks every day. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxing, friendly, and perfect for both couples and families. We created amazing memories here and genuinely didn’t want to leave. A huge thank you to everyone who made our vacation so special. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday!

We had an amazing stay in room 8145! The room was always spotless, fresh, and perfectly prepared every single day. A very special thank you to our housekeeper, Ahmed Gaballah, for his outstanding work, attention to detail, and kindness. He always greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. His hard work truly made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. It is employees like him who make this hotel stand out.
