we don’t spend a lot of time at a motel, but we want great basics and cleanliness with pleasant staff, and we got all of this at a very reasonable price. We were very happy with our stay, and we would stay again. Linens were good and bed was fairly comfortable. We like a really soft bed and this one is probably medium, but probably best for the average people using it.

We were surprised by how large the rooms are. There is a table area, closet area, kitchen and bedroom area. The kitchen is equipped to cook meals. You just need to ask the front desk for dishes, pots, etc. They are not automatically in the room. The beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful and professional. We appreciate that large dogs are allowed as we have a retired guide dog who is well behaved and quiet. The hotel was also quiet. We only heard barking once. The noise between rooms is typical. We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. The location is across the street from a grocery store. My only complaint is the cheap and very scratchy toilet paper.

This is a place to stay if you're interested in just going to the lake your whole trip if you don't like camping. It has a kitchen in the room and a grocery store just walking distance from the hotel so if you don't feel like going out to dinner or if there was a whole lot of you and wanna save a few bucks. There is no pots and pans and utensils so make sure you bring those if you intent to cook. And bring an eye mask, I had a hard time sleeping in after 8 am because the sun seeped through. The thing about the bed, it is comfortable enough, for me though, I would bring my own pillow. I found the pillow too soft, was finding myself changing directions on the pillow too often because it flatten out after a while as I was trying to sleep, so did my husband.
