The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation, right next to the North Gate and Parking Lot 9. It's also very close to Baijianfang, making sightseeing easy. If you're an early riser who loves to photograph the waterside town in the morning, you're just a few steps away from the scenic streets. Plus, the Baoshan River boat dock is right next door, with the first boat departing daily at 9 AM. The front desk staff, especially the young man, was very enthusiastic and always willing to help. The room amenities were complete. My only minor complaint is that even in summer, the duvet was quite thick, and the air conditioning blew directly onto the bed. It was either too hot with the duvet or too windy without it. There's significant room for improvement in terms of cleanliness; the nooks and crannies could be much better. Don't expect too much from the breakfast; it's more about filling you up than offering quality. If it's not to your liking, you can always grab a bowl of Shuangjiao noodles in the old town outside. Overall, it's still a recommended stay!

This hotel is part of a chain, so the management and hygiene are much better than what you'd find in a typical private guesthouse. The wooden cabinets inside feel high-quality, and there are no strange odors in the room. The room we booked even had a small courtyard, which was great for relaxing. The staff were very attentive, offering various drinks and pour-over coffee. The location is also excellent – right by the North Gate parking lot of the ancient town, and Hundred-Jian Building is just outside the entrance, so late-night strolls aren't an issue.

The renovation is quite good, and the environment is nice. However, I really can't praise the room hygiene. As for breakfast, disgusting is the only word I can use to describe it; it's even worse than what you'd get at a budget hotel costing a hundred dollars.

The room had a unique, antique charm, giving off the feeling of a grand old family home from ancient times, complete with a small courtyard. I absolutely loved the ambiance. Getting luggage from the front desk to the room involved a bit of a walk, and the old-fashioned paving made it a bit difficult to pull, but for the sake of the experience, it was acceptable. The hotel was also very close to the parking lot, which was convenient. The main issue was cleanliness: hair was noticeable everywhere in the room, and the toilet bowl was yellowed. The hygiene standards definitely need improvement. Even more problematic was breakfast. It was truly terrible, and I'm not sure if it's because it's in a rural area. I've never seen a hotel breakfast with such a limited selection. There was only congee, steamed buns, fried rice, and siu mai – not even beverages like soy milk, juice, coffee, or milk were available. There were seven guests in the restaurant, including us, at the time. We asked the front desk to add fried noodles, but they only cooked a single serving, which felt incredibly stingy. The breakfast experience was really, really poor. I sincerely hope the owner sees this review and makes significant improvements. If you don't plan on eating breakfast at the hotel, I highly recommend staying here. The room is unique, and it's very close to the parking lot. However, if you need to have breakfast, you absolutely must reconsider.

The room was large, the environment was nice, and it was very quiet.

The room was quite spacious, the overall environment of the guesthouse was good, and the service was excellent. I forgot my clothes, and the staff helped me find them and send them back. Thumbs up!
