From check-in to check-out, the overall experience felt less professional compared to other resort hotels. Additionally, hotel staff entered the room without prior consent. The drinking water provided in the room was Nongfu Spring.
The hotel's supporting facilities were underdeveloped, offering limited recreational options. The room's internal facilities, whether it was the ventilation system or the air conditioning, produced extremely loud noise. The shower water temperature remained scalding hot even when adjusted to the lowest setting.
The breakfast selection was limited, and the restaurant staff displayed poor attitude.
On a positive note, the mattress was Simmons Beautyrest series with a pillow top, which was excellent.

We took our family on a trip to Huzhou. After much deliberation, we booked the Xisai Mountain Hongju Hotel. We stayed for three days and two nights, and everyone was very satisfied.
The hotel is located in the Xisai Mountain area, and the environment is beautiful. The morning air was incredibly fresh. We were also quite satisfied with the cleanliness of the room; we checked it carefully and didn't see any dirty spots.
We brought a small dog, and the room even had a bed and a cute pet bowl – very thoughtful! Pet cleaning supplies are also provided.
The breakfast selection was quite extensive. The noodles and glutinous rice balls were delicious! The watermelon was incredibly sweet. They had almost everything from Chinese to Western dishes. Oh, and they even had jianbing (Chinese crepes)!
A special thank you to Lily for her comprehensive care. We hope to have the opportunity to go again next time.
Ordering takeout from the hotel was very convenient, which is definitely a plus.

Having stayed at several Banyan Tree hotels before, we were impressed by the excellent service here! Even with the high occupancy rate during the National Day holiday, our butler, Olivia, still managed to upgrade us to a family room. Looking for a place to relax in Xisai Mountain, I chose Hongju Hotel. The moment I stepped inside, I was amazed by its design, nestled amidst the mountains and water. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby offered views of rolling green hills, a babbling brook flowed through the courtyard, and even the corridors exuded the elegance of Jiangnan, as if bringing the idyllic scene of "white egrets flying before Xisai Mountain" into my stay.
