I have stayed in Double Tree before and was disappointed with the room feeling a bit dated and an older type of mattress that was not real comfortable.
Although when checking in the staff was friendly, but on check out she did not understand basic things we were asking and was not overly friendly. This is something that simple training can resolve.
They gym, albeit quite large was also dated and not well maintained. It appeared that you bought leftovers from a gym closeout. Many of the weights were rusted and the machines did not operate smoothly.

Since we had to travel to Woods Hole for the Steamship Ferry it was conveniently in the middle of Cape Cod

Property has thin walls. You could hear a lot of noise from other guests.

Staff were very responsive. One of the rooms had a noise issue due to vent system for pool. They turned off the system to allow the person in this room to sleep. It was a problem the first night.

The only thing I wish our room came with was a microwave. Other than that the bathroom was awesome. Huge tub and a great shower.

The worst experience of my life. They gave me a room on the first floor close to the pool and road. They said the pool is closed but didn’t say that the workers are fixing the pool. Too many workers were passing by my windows looking inside. I closed the windows and curtains. Lots of noise from street and parking lot. I asked for room change, they said they have none and didn’t accommodate me at all. It’s 2 am and I can’t sleep. The room is moldy and can’t breathe. Already took several medications.
