We booked with Hyannis in January,2024 for our summer trip June, 2024. We paid $543.00 deposit, we had never seen the place in person. We checked in 6/19/2024, when we got to the room, my daughter immediately started having trouble breathing in the room, she is allergic to mold, the room did smell very moldy. The front desk offered another room, it also had a bad smell and caused breathing problems. Because it was less then 14 days, they told me I would lose the whole amount, which was about $1,100. We spend the rest of the day trying to find a hotel, which we did. I looked on Bookings and saw Hyannis Inn did sell out for the night. It is sad they can’t refund when there facility causes an allergic reaction. I would recommend not booking with them online and to see the room first.
