Wow what a place. So much to see, we spent the whole day being amazed at how well they have set this park up. We did the safari jeep around part of the park first We then lunched in the orangery and what a fantastic meal that was. Hubby had traditional beef roast. I had beetroot and caramelised onion tart. They were both delicious and couldn’t eat all on our plates. Service was excellent Finished by walking lunch off around the park. The views to the coast are stunning and the animals adorable. They cater for kids with a dinosaur forest and play areas

Took my husband here for his 60th birthday as a surprise with our family. I booked Giraffe Cottage (sleeps 8). It was just incredible from start to finish. The booking process was amazing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Upon arrival they were incredibly discreet so my husband had no idea what last ahead. The hotel and grounds are exquisite. He was blown away. We had lunch in the bar and then had a private jeep safari to our cottage. We got to see amazing animals close up and it was life changing. The cottage itself was beautiful and our chef was waiting for us. We were presented with Prosecco, warm bread and olives and a lit fire in the garden. Our 3 course meal was served in the cosy kitchen. All delicious and beautifully presented to us. After dinner we went down to the Giraffe Lodge and stood on the balcony overlooking the most unbelievable vista and surrounded by giraffe, zebra and deer. Just awe inspiring. After a cooked breakfast prepared by our chef the following morning, we were collected for part 2 of our jeep safari. My husband and I then had a 1-hour giraffe encounter and fed them by hand. Wow. What an experience. Altogether simply magical in every way. Loved every second. Cannot recommend Port Lympne more highly.

Stayed 2 nights with a large family group ( 27) celebrating my Mum’s 88th birthday . This is a stunning place. One night in the Mansion House , which was amazing . Such a beautiful house , bedrooms & gardens . Food in the garden room was delicious. Evening meal & breakfast . 2nd night we stayed in The Treehouses which were fantastic, amazing views over the park . And very luxurious interior’s. Golf buggies for getting around the park were very useful & great fun. We all saw some tremendous sights in the evening. Lion & Gorilla encounters were fantastic, keepers were very informative. The whole safari park is such a wonderful experience, all the animals are extremely happy & well cared for. We had a great Safari with Penny and saw lots of amazing animals, who had huge areas to graze . All the staff across the park / hotel were very friendly & helpful . Shout out for Sam ( I think that’s her name , in the private lounge area for treehouse’s & looking after anything we required. It was a nice touch to have our own area. Also a shout out for Maria in reception who was exceptional & very friendly . Cafes were very nice & recommend the pizza takeout too. A fantastic time had by all & would throughly recommend a stay here.

Recently stayed here for a night in the hotel located in the Reserve, we stayed in the Rex Whistler room which was spacious & luxurious. Had inclusive breakfast in the Garden Room restaurant which was delicious & generous portions. Our stay included use of a golf buggy to get around the reserve on & a Safari truck ride where you get to see parts of the reserve where animals roam free. The buggy came in handy as the routes around the reserve are quite hilly & steep in places, the Safari truck ride lasted about an hour with a commentary from the driver/guide but be warned, it is very potholed in places & you get bumped around alot. Lots of animals to see, we loved seeing the gorillas ( & baby) , big cats & brown bear the most. If you arrive at 9-30 am you have access to the reserve for 2 full days so it gives you more than enough time to see all the animals. Had lunch in cafe which was nice enough but there are a couple of restaurants if you want bigger meals. All the staff were friendly & helpful & the hotel was beautiful, all in all we really enjoyed our stay & would visit again.

Absolutely fantastic venue , much better than we all expected and definitely worth the money Would 100% recommend paying extra for the safari and if you are lucky enough to get Kirsty as your guide, you’ve hit the jackpot So knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and nothing was to much trouble as we were all made to feel part of the experience and to top it off also caught a couple of her ‘talks’ with the cheetahs and Bears Fantastic venue & Fantastic Staff

We stayed for our mini moon in the treetop bubble. The accommodation was lovely (albeit slightly noisy being situated by a main road) and the site itself was great. Lots of wonderful gardens, buildings, walks etc to explore. Both the inclusive safari and ranger safari were excellent. However, the staff on site in the restaurants etc leave a lot to be desired. We were delayed checking in by 40-60mins due to an issue with the buggy, as a gesture of goodwill they offered us double welcome drinks and assured us we could have them the next day (we didn’t have time on arrival due to the delay and the delay with check in). This seems not to have been communicated to the clubhouse where the drinks are available so there was more fuss getting this resolved. On arriving for our drinks we were told there were no zero alcohol options but that they would source some from the other bar for the next day. The staff member the next day knew nothing about this. We ended up not having our welcome drinks …. You’d think they would have just offered us to have the drinks at the fully catered bar where they have zero alcohol options for non drinkers?! On cleaning and restocking our accommodation they missed the loo roll and we had to call for more. Two mornings we had breakfast delivered to our accommodation, both times they missed marking the gluten free option so we had to call to identify it. They left the hamper from the first morning for the duration of our stay, no instructions on where to return it and the staff didn’t remove it on cleaning. Not great considering it had food left in it/dirty dishes etc. In the bear lodge restaurant there was again refusal to make zero alcohol gin and tonic even though they have the gin for use in cocktails. Also confusion over gluten free offerings. Whilst these seem like minor issues, considering the amount we stayed to pay here we would have expected better service. I do have to give a shout out to the young man who checked us in (unfortunately didn’t get his name) and to Kyer who served us in the garden room restaurant as their service was impeccable and a breath of fresh air compared to others!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit for my husband’s 70th birthday, I booked it as a suprise for him and we both had a whale of a time. The golf buggy is a fantastic idea, being able to go out on it at any time was was wonderful, especially when the park was closed. We ate in The garden room for breakfast both mornings and one evening meal, beautifully cooked food and lovely polite staff, we also ate at Babydoll, the food and staff were great there too.. we will most definitely return!!

A large group of us went to the Reserve for the day. We had a great time and would recommend it. However, the Garden restaurant wasn't so good. It's a lovely room and the service was good, but the food was awful. One meal had to be sent back and half of us found the food to be dry and over cooked. The beef burger I had was dry and tasteless. Definetly not good value for money and and unfortunate end to an otherwise enjoyable day. The restaurant was nearly empty which should have been a warning to us.

This was a birthday treat from our daughter and partner. There are various beautiful unique accommodations, ours was The Hideaway which was perfect, cute and clean with a log burner inside and fire pit outside. Perfect! There are plenty of animals of all species to see via walking or use of a golf buggy to get around. Lovely scenery and amazing food.
