Navy Hotel

Just had two weeks at the Navy, comfortable room, clean although the bathrooms need updating. Overall the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast had a good selection available. Would definitely return again to this family run hotel.

Booked with Jet 2 they changed r hotel 2 days prior to our departure to stay at the Navy Hotel they booked us into a Superior room it was awful dark n dingy so we asked to be moved which they did a deluxe suite rubbish it was unclean curtains ripped partner had to re hang them no kettle tea cups etc had to ask for them balcony was flooded with water told reception there was a leek from the roof did repair the next day cleaner only came every two or three days had to keep asking for clean towels and to empty bins as you cannot flush toilet paper not hygienic at all the bed was ok but lacked bed sheet cover very basic room nothing deluxe about it bulbs not working in bathroom kept telling them came the day before we were due to go home!! Been with Jet 2 several times no complaints but they need to cease their contract with this hotel not fit for purpose do not book to stay here .

First of all on arrival the first noticeable thing was the smell. It smelt mouldy. The chairs in the reception area where covered in what looked like old nylon chair covers. See pictures. They did not have our reservation, so we where put in a small inadequate room until the following day. Then we where put in a larger room. The shower hose was leaking, the shower tray was not draining properly. The whole shower was leaking where water was filling the bathroom floor. Lighting was detached. There shower cubicle was mouldy and dirty. See attached video. The following morning we went for breakfast and it felt like we where walking into an old people's home. As the clientele where of an older age range. Breakfast consisted of cold beans and mushy runny scrambled eggs. The toaster took a minume of 7 minutes to toast the bread. The juices where diluted. Flies around the cold meats and fruit. ( not good at all) we had breakfast else where, considering we paid for this. We did not have our room cleaned for the first two days. Overall even though one would say you get what you pay for...however cheap can still be good. This place is dated . I personally will never be going there again. The pictures on the website is not a true reflection of the accommodation.

That Holiday was a really great experience for me. Staff was very friendly, diligent and helpful. Nury was a funny man I like him also he is very helpful at bar and restaurant. Snack Bar was perfect (thanks a lot to snack bar chef.) I ate chicken wrap and cheese burger, these are amazing. I don't know other things but I'm sure they would be perfect too. Also rich breakfast and very delicious omelette (especially with cheese). Thank you for everything Navy Hotel. I would like to come next year...

nice hotel about 500 yards from the beach, our room was not big but adequate, the shower room was fine, The pool area is small and the sunbeds a bit too close to each other, but we prefer the beach anyway which is much nicer and free if you drink in the beach bars which we always did. The location is good near pubs and restaurants, we eat out and go out every night so plenty to go, we did have a beer or two in the hotel bar which was fine, but we go on holiday to go out not sit in our hotel every night and day.(how boring) . The clientele however seemed quite old and it did remind of a carehome. The breakfast was ok, nothing special. Icmeler is a lovely resort and the guys In Turkey are usually pretty friendly.

brilliant location everything in walking distance staff very friendly caters mainly for mature couples and turkish holiday makers breakfast typical turkish which was lovely dinner turkish same rooms small but clean

Navy is a lovely little hotel, but what really makes it are the staff. Form the bar, to the kitchen, to reception, to the house maids, the staff are friendly, unobtrusive and genuinely fun to be around. They made the holiday. The hotel is only 100m form a loverly beach and boardwalk, and close to the "west end". Highly recommended.

Do not waste your money at this hotel. It is cheap and only a 3 star (yes) but your money would be better elsewhere. The hotel manager (female) is rude, lazy and doesn’t care once she has taken your money. When we arrived 22/08/2023 we were immediately taken back by the smell at the steps of the entrance, weeds and trees were seriously overgrown and the place smelt very damp. The reception is very outdated (the pictures you see on the website or adverts do not at all reflect the reality of the hotel. It looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 1980s We were given a “family room” which was 3 single beds squeezed into one double room & one of the beds were broken meaning we had to share sleeping space (we had a disabled adult in our party too) we couldn’t fit out suitcases as well as my mums walking device, we made them aware but they just shrugged and said “you knew what you booked” … after 3 horrendous nights of side stepping around one another in this tiny dingy room that had far too much furniture in it.. we were asked to pay £120 to upgrade, there is no such thing as an upgrade in this hotel… that room was just as old n dingy with a damaged air con unit (which we were told was working fine but the sun was too strong) We had paid for the air con… ridiculous customer service. Receptionist tried her best and was friendly. Aykon on the bar was a nice guy too. I left a google review on the day I was leaving whilst I was in the hotel’s reception. Only for the female manager to run over very aggressively and begin to verbally abuse me in front of everyone there. She only embarrassed herself as every guest staying at the hotel when I was there, had various complaints that were never resolved. This place is a disgrace. The management is a disgrace. If it wasn’t for the very few decent members of staff I mentioned above, the place would only be short of a padlock. Please don’t make the mistake we did and waste your money here. Do some proper research and you will soon discover this place is vile.
