We were at El Patio in the first week of April. A beautiful place in the middle of a large banana plantation and yet only 5 minutes by car from Garrachico and Icod. Very friendly staff and great breakfast. You can also eat on site 5 days a week for little money and it's very tasty. Highly recommended...

We stayed in Balcon el Patio which was a a lovely villa about 800 m from hotel. It is private and quiet but we all would have preferred to stay in the hotel which is full of character with lovely seating areas and nice pool and such an easy relaxed a**osphere. Taxi service is very good to the town of Garachico which has lots of lovely restaurants. Watching and learning about the bananas was fun. make sure if you go you take the long road from south airport. The drive over the mountains is very scary.

Very beautiful place, authentic and charming in the heart of a banana plantation. Lots of small, quiet places to rest: garden, reading room, small swimming pool (rather cool). A downside: very noisy partitions and expensive and ordinary dinner. It is preferable to dine in town (La Quinta Roja for example). Good welcome and varied breakfast.

Wonderful 16c Hacienda in Banana Plantation Very quirky and quiet. We stayed 5 nights in The Balcony which is a self catering villa right on the coast about 15mins walk from the main hotel through the bananas. Could be a little difficult on very dark nights so we often drove. Last two nights we spent on the original hacienda which was very a**ospheric. Staff were great. Breakfasts adequate. Evening meals limited to 5 nights per week and small menu which didn't change. Nice free coffee and tea 24 hours plus a fridge with paid-for soft and alcoholic drinks. Also a fridge freezer for guests to share. Nice pool, sun loungers and gardens. All very spacious, well kept and quiet.

This is our first time staying at the Hotel El Patio and we have already booked the next time! It is an incredibly beautiful place with wonderful rooms. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and fulfill every wish. A different restaurant was booked for us every evening and every restaurant was wonderful. The complex is very well maintained and a walk through the large banana grove to the sea is an experience. From some of the rooms you can see the sea and hear the branding. Garachico is a nice town and not too crowded. We made many trips from here and played on the wonderful Buenavista golf course nearby. A great holiday

Had the perfect stay here in November. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, booking taxis for us and giving us some great recommendations for the local area. The area is so peaceful, pool and tennis court are great. Excellent value and would definitely recommend!!
