So this is not a town with a lot of options, but the Comfort Suites still needs to try a bit harder. Our room appeared clean, if a little worn-looking. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However: no coffee makers in the room, which is really not acceptable. I don't want to have to go down to the breakfast room at 6 am to get coffee. And I noticed several spiders in the room. I know it's summertime in a rural area, but that shouldn't happen. And although I hadn't planned to use the pool, I was surprised to see it closed ”for the season” as the sign said. The summer season? On top of that, the pool water was green and gross-looking, obviously untended and unhealthy. Why would they just leave it like that? Do better.
