Candlewood Suites Idaho Falls

The place is great, however, the reception Ray was not professional. He spent long time on the credit card processing, put us on hold without any apology. At the end, he asked for help from his coworker when I lost all my patience. The coworker just mentioned one word, then his mistake fixed. The only thing I was expected was he say“ sorry for waiting”, but he said nothing.

What a sardine can. No privacy, if you want to have a couples stay go somewhere else.

Fantastic stay. The Hotel Team were so helpful and polite. Moved our room to help accommodate our dogs, who remained so calm the entire time we were there. Room was spacious and friendly.

Nice rooms and very friendly staff. The interior is quite nice and the balcony one-bedroom suite was nice (but see below and the picture.) For an extended stay, there is a variety of cooking tools (rice cookers, crockpots, etc.) in the laundry/gym/ice room. Two not great things: 1. There was apparently a scent-dispenser of some kind in the room, it always smelled of vanilla when returning. Not strongly, but if you are scent-sensitive it might be a problem. 2. The door to the balcony has a window with a shade over it. The shade cannot be opened - it is bolted to the door. Nor does the shade keep the very bright exterior lights from shining into the bed room at night. This needs to be fixed with a tighter shade that can also be opened for day light. Pro-Tips for Dog Owners: Directly across the river is a beer place called Tap and Fill, which allows dogs inside an on the patio. It’s just short walk across the bridge. // This was a great location for accessing the River Walk with my dog. I have a bike attachment and we did a five-mile loop each morning and afternoon to burn up young husky energy. It was a reward for each of us to stop at Tap and Fill in the early evening.

Clean comfortable room

Very clean and quiet.

Nice place. First room given wasn’t cleaned, immediately got us into another room. Apologized and was very sorry. Great customer service. New room was wonderful and clean.

Staff was fine, not overly friendly. Front desk never said hi or acknowledged you any time you walked by the front desk. Only real concern was a old trash smell in the halls. Thank goodness it didn't seep into our room but it wasn't a pleasant trip to our room. Also, Our fridge in our room was very loud. We had to unplug it st night. Other than that, rooms clean, comfy bed.

We have stayed here before. It is always very nice. The staff is always pleasant. The rooms are always clean. They have a great area for the dogs to potty. We love having the kitchen area in our room. Great place to stay.
