Love Ameristar because they care for veterans. I get free slot play, my rewards for food and a great room with a great view. An excellent hotel experience! This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. The location is amazing. It is nestled in the foothills west of Denver as you drive west into the Rockies. It feels like you’re in a small mountain town but only 30 minutes from all the Denver attractions and convenient to the mountain attractions to the west. The room and the common areas were spotless. As other reviews stated, the beds are high off the ground but comfortable. The view from our room was the Front Range, but all the rooms are either overlooking the mountains or a wooded hillside. The best part of the hotel is the staff. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional, and conscientiousness. A special shout out to the front desk staff and the man and woman who maintained the breakfast room. Housekeeping was by request, which seems like the new normal in the hotel industry. You just have to remember to set it up the night before. The breakfast was tasty, but it literally was exactly the same for all 8 days we stayed. However, it was free, and there were enough options that it was satisfying. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay. It is right off I-70 in an area with food and shopping, but it is not your typical highway stop or suburban hotel. There are parks and natural areas all around. There are elk in the area as well as mountain vistas. With all of the wonderful amenities, clean and comfortable environment, excellent location, and great staff, this hotel was a major part of an amazing Colorado vacation and an excellent value for the price! If I’m ever in Denver again, I will definitely try to stay here again!

This is a homestay which is cheap and value for money. Breakfast is good with self service. This homestay is about 55 mins to Vail Village and Ski Resort.

-Green to the Extreme- This hotel should have 5 stars as they have excellent breakfast, the facility is renovated and in good shape, parking is free and common areas are well-maintained. My main problem pertains to their ”Green” practice, which has been taken to an extreme level. As a ”green” hotel, the lights in the room shut off completely after 30 minutes of in-room motion. Working at the desk in my room, I had the lights shut off 5 times while I was trying to work at my desk (very annoying). Secondly, all of the outlets are set to green timers so they shut-off after 30 minutes. This means that their own alarm clock doesn't work because it resets to 12 AM every 30 minutes......lol.....why is it even in the room? Being green is one thing, penny pinching is another. If they truly wanted to save the environment, they wouldn't have a hot tub and pool (believe it or not, heating these puppies 24-7 costs far more than shutting off visitor's high efficiency LED lights and outlets. Get rid of these bologna problems and you will get five stars.
