De receptie was gesloten, bij aankomst vanwege de Ruhetag. Er lagen enveloppen met sleutels bij de ingang. Geen probleem, maar een klein briefje of aanwijzing met betrekking tot de openingstijden en ontbijt zou prettig zijn.
Het hotel is prachtig. Oude Duitse stijl. De locatie is nabij het oude, idyllische centrum.

Very old hotel - Quirky room. Great bed and pillows— breakfast in 1st morning was great , breakfast in 2nd morning— a little tired … bot, in the whole , a nice , different , hotel

Wonderfully renovated, very old half-timbered house with modern rooms. Unfortunately, the rooms are very noisy, so you can't get any rest until all the guests are in bed (= big minus). The junior manager was not very charming and unhelpful when we arrived. You didn't really feel welcome. Staff very helpful, excellent breakfast in the restaurant with a wonderful a**osphere. One thing that is incomprehensible: why is the price for an overnight stay higher when booking directly on the hotel website than via a booking portal? Given the pros and cons, this is therefore only an average rating overall.
