Monsoon Grande

There were sooooo beautiful view from the roof top. Staffs were so kind and they provided some good activities to enjoy Munnar. My dom was near the reception so it was a bit noisy during the night party but I had a great stay!

700 m inside from main road. And that road is very bad. Once someone goes inside they don't dare to go out for a normal thing. Hot water malfunctioned on day 1 and we had to take bath from cold water. Light insects filled the room at night ( roams are not sealed) Non AC rooms

We have stayed here all we can say is the experience was wonderful. Starting from check in, the 4 th floor restaurant was wonderful and special thanks to the people who served us (sorry I can’t recall the name) both Wer so friendly and helpful. Timely calls for dinner. Check in Food & their service Room cleaning Check out All Wer smooth clean and wonderful. Special thanks to the General ***ager as well. Hope to see you guys soon with our entire family ❤️❤️

We are from Australia...Lovely spot to stay with a view of the mountains on one side and a tea garden on the other. An average motel with three stars. Everything is fine in terms of price. Our accommodation was on the third level, with a lovely view of the tea garden. The breakfast is fantastic. The employees are polite and pleasant. This hotel offers complimentary breakfast for drivers, but does not provide complimentary accommodations for drivers. One significant issue is that you cannot get there without a car because the route is so muddy and uneven that you can only drive 5 km/h on it. I don't understand why there are so ***y large hotels on one road. The area would be paradise if each hotel paid for the construction of 20 metres of new road. Everything about this place is off due to the dangerous road. The sound from the Fourth Floor kitchen make us awake all the times but when we complain the sound got less... Nice Hotel. Well maintained. Rooms are neat and clean though a little small. No dining space in the room. Food is good. Service in the restaurant is good as well. All staff are helpful. The hotel is away from Munnar town and also in the interior. The approach road is quiet narrow. The hotel has a tea garden right near the entrance which you can visit.

Please read this review if you are even thinking to stay at this place. Be very careful about your belongings in this hotel. I lost my Apple iWatch at this hotel after my 1 day stay on 18th May 2023. I had forgotten the watch during the check out and approached the hotel the very next morning. By then the cleaning staff had already cleaned the room and provided it to another guest. The watch shows the location to be at the same room I stayed at and it is in switched off mode. The watch had more than 80 percent charge the day I checked out. I went to the hotel and questioned the cleaning staff and personally checked the rooms. Unfortunately I couldnt get it. Ofcourse if the cleaning took place before the room was handed over to another guest, then it must be the staff itself who has taken it. I am thoroughly disappointed with this stay. I am not saying this can happen to everyone, but the possibility is really high. They really need to scrutinise their staff.

Excellent view from the room and hotel. The location was fantastic, with nice views, overall a nice property. The rooms are slightly dated, and some parts, like the sofa probably needs some overhaul, but the location and views you have more than make up for it.

Excellent view ,clean rooms and great staff . Peaceful place to stay and enjoy the nature. IF you want it close to the city then it is not a place to stay. Overall very good rooms , excellent staff and good breakgast and food .the welcome drink was excellent. Good parking place . Would deifinitely recommend the place

I had an extremely good experience at Monsoon Grande. It's a beautiful and quiet place to stay. Every effort seems to have been made to make this well organized, the rooms were very clean and well-***aged. Service was top-notch. All of the front desk staff were great but Mr.Sovin, in particular, was especially helpful as he checked me in quickly and answered all of my questions, very kind as well! I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again in the future. It is truly beautiful and very well-located.
