Le Chamonix

There is no hair dryer or kettle in the hotel room. The socket is hard to find. The window is leaking. Although there is heating in the room, it still feels quite cold after the air leakage. I went to the front desk to ask for a kettle, but the front desk said that the hotel does not provide it. The service staff's English is very average. There is no elevator in the hotel, but there is one in the corridor. There are stairs of different heights to pass, which is very inconvenient to take the luggage. To go to the restaurant, you have to walk from the corridor to the lobby first, and then walk in the opposite direction from the lobby to reach the restaurant. The distance is quite far. The hotel said that breakfast will start at 8:00, but when we arrived at 8:10, the door of the restaurant was not open. When we checked out at 9:00 in the morning, we wanted to ask the service staff to help with the luggage, but there was still no service staff to take the luggage at 9 o'clock in the morning. It was also difficult to open and close the door of the room, which should be due to the deformation of the door.

The worst experience I strongly advise against this establishment, simply mediocre! A manager who speaks very poorly to customers as if we were at home. If I were the owner I would fire him. Knowing that we are also entrepreneurs and we know how to manage staff. Quite simply a disaster, we left at 9 p.m. to go to the house, so shocked by their attitudes and mediocrity! On the other hand, the veiled girl at reception offered to accommodate us in her house, of course after this bad experience our stay was ruined and we preferred to go home.

We took a break to drink coffee in this establishment. I am seated, I am served a coffee. I barely touched it; I'm going to the bathroom. When I return, the table is cleared. The waiter refuses to refill my coffee. In addition to the politeness of the staff, the place is not welcoming (except the terrace in full sun) and lacks hygiene.

Bad stay for us. Poor internet, TVs that don't work and questionable cleanliness. Beds not very comfortable. Friendly staff though. Much too expensive for the offer.

Our stay at the Hôtel Le Chamonix was extremely disappointing. I strongly advise against this establishment, because the quality is simply mediocre. The service leaves something to be desired, with deplorable behavior from employees and the manager. Despite prior agreement when booking for two children aged 6 years old to be free, we were surprised to see them included in the bill, and the manager did not keep his first word. An unpleasant experience with excessive prices.
