Went in July with the family...nice location facing the sea, hotel always the same, very dated furnishings...simple and very clean rooms, not soundproofed, I can hear everything...especially the ones at the back on the public road...very lived in until the morning. .and doesn't make you sleepy..nice balcony..friendly helpful staff..good food..and served on nice days..buffet..on the terrace facing the sea...beautiful view! Hotel not for families because there is no place for children's games.. there is no swimming pool. and too bad there is no garage.. you have to take the car to one of their car parks and then return to the hotel on foot because they don't have a shuttle and they accompany you and it's not close..too expensive for the quality and services offered

My mother and I stayed at the Strand Hotel for a week. We can only congratulate and praise the owners and all the staff. Hotel in a wonderful location, convenient to everything, even our evening walks. My brother and sister-in-law stayed with us for a weekend and they were also very satisfied. We opted for full board and found fabulous, refined and fresh cuisine. We also had a great time in the Afrika bathroom right next to the structure. The room had a small balcony overlooking the sea, large, very clean and equipped with every comfort. We felt much better than at home because we felt like princesses. We highly recommend it and hope to return. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart

Weekend in Romagna, relaxation, sun and joy. Very welcoming property on the beach, standard room with small bathroom, but one with a balcony! Good buffet cuisine with large servings of meat and fish. The waiters were very courteous, except one of the two owners. What can I say, I would happily go back.

Having left as a BB we decided to have dinner in the hotel, a decision we absolutely did not regret. Menu: complete, refined cuisine, meat and fish available, plenty of cooked and raw vegetables, various delicacies to be enjoyed both as an entry and during the meal and the sweet ending that always makes you so happy! Breakfast: sweet/savoury, plentiful and for all needs. Extremely clean rooms and common areas. Excellent location: directly on the beach on the sea side and adjacent to the pedestrian area on the city center side. Staff: very kind and attentive. Angelo and Paris then make the difference! Excellent location on the sea, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, possibility of having lunch on the terrace. Good breakfast. Sunbeds included. Kiosk near the beach. Free parking. I recommend B&B. I preferred lunch on the terrace to dinner in the hotel both in terms of location and food for this B&B.

I was a guest of the Hotel Strand from 23 May to 27 May 2023, on the occasion of my first holiday "tranche" in the town of Igea Marina, a town that I have been frequenting for thirty years now; this year, after more than ten years, I decided to change my accommodation structure. The 3-star superior hotel is located at the edge of the city's pedestrian centre, directly on the beach, on Viale Pinzon; Built in the 1950s, compared to most of the Igeia structures, it has undergone continuous and constant updating over the years which has brought it in line with the most current needs of guests. On the outside it presents clean and essential lines, an airy entrance veranda for conversation and a small raised dehors that allows connection to the rear terrace, used for second breakfasts and lunches. Upon entering, the hall appears harmonious and furnished with good taste with furniture and seats which wisely range from 1930s rationalism to contemporary taste; the bureau counter is of good size and slopes down towards the small bar corner; a large staircase connects the upper floors; There is also an elevator and a staircase leading to the basement where there is a small gym/bicycle storage, "public" bathrooms and the artificial tanning room. The dining room, which is accessed from the hall, is of good and generous size: furnished in a "rustic-contemporary" style, it features a large counter in the center for the buffet service. Going up to the bedroom floor we encounter well-kept and well-soundproofed corridors, thanks also to the carpet/rug on the floor; the hotel has three (plus one) types of rooms: Standard, Classic, Comfort (and Family): I was reserved a Classic room (number 109) which is a room that offers a combination of the simplicity of the services and the comfort of a structure like this: of nice but not large sizes, it had a good-sized and comfortable bed, a large wardrobe, a built-in desk and a small minibar (off and unplugged), the wooden floor allowed for better "management" of the sand in the room; the medium-sized balcony was equipped with a foldable drying rack and a small table with two chairs; the bathroom, equipped with both good quality linen and workmanship and with good courtesy products, had "90s/00s" furnishings which, on the other hand, produced a certain "squeal" compared to the modern furnishings of the room, despite their functionality and practicality of use; the supply of electricity in the room was via a key to be inserted into a socket, with consequent interruption of the same when leaving the room. We stayed at the suggestion of friends and booking reviews. We found two splendid people, Angelo, a little shy but very kind and polite, and Paride, a cheerful, friendly and customer-focused person, always present, we had a great time, we felt very pampered, they looked after our every need, one morning they opened the breakfast room half an hour earlier to allow us to leave earlier. The rooms were spotless, the courtesy set with razor and shaving cream included, and what about the bedroom slippers (now almost no three-star structure gives them) Fantastic breakfast, there's everything both sweet and savory and fruit. A little old structure inside. The strong point is the cleanliness of the rooms (1000 stars for the cleaning ladies) and the view of the sea. The food to forget... they told us that they had problems with the staff.... but if we arrived down a little later in the morning there was nothing left... not only did we ask for things and they answered whenever it was finished. For lunch and dinner if you didn't show up at the right time (not as flexible as they said) you found very little in the buffet. Repetitive food and salads repeated for days. After a few days we moved.... I hope they can find a solution with the kitchen staff and with a little more quality in the food, so it could be a nice hotel to stay in.

Great location! Structure: a little dated and unfortunately poorly soundproofed rooms. Very different room compared to what was proposed in the estimate. For some strange reason no mattress was placed in the baby's bed. Cuisine: The cuisine is very varied but not particularly tasty and the table linen is not changed often. Furthermore, when the buffet trays run out they are not replaced, which generates crowds around the table and forces guests to enter the room early: those who go to dinner at 8.30pm have paid as much as those who go to dinner at 7.30pm; therefore he has the right to have the trays filled as they are emptied by previous guests. Excellent breakfast. Room service very professional even if, at times, detached. Welcome and services: the welcome could undoubtedly have been more smiley but overall always kind. Services, including free bikes, deserve a mention.
