Schönes Gebäude von aussen. Parkplatz schwierig zu finden und nicht zum Haus passend. Im Innenhof etwas nüchtern eingerichtet. Grosse Speisekarte mit lokalen Spezialitäten. Nettes Servicepersonal. Preise tendenziell höher als vergleichbare Weinstuben.

After an absence of nearly two years due to Covid-19, we met up with friends for a very good dinner at the Sonne. the food was very good and the service was excellent. My snail soup and beef carpaccio was particularly very good. We would definitely go back there again given the opportunity.

Im Innenhof der Sonne kann man gemütlich den Abend verbringen. Das Essen mit den Gerichten: Leberle und Steak war sehr schmackhaft. Alles war frisch zubereitet und reichlich. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Preis-/Leistung Verhältnis stimmt hier. Insgesamt ein sehr netter und zufriedener Aufenthalt.

I was accommodated at this place after walking across Germany (camping), as I wanted to take a break and the value/quality seamed okay. I booked it for two days. Upon checking in, the owner kept on giving me dirty looks and did not communicate with me really. I felt intimidated and not comfortable/welcome. On the second day, I bumped into the owner and said ‘Good morning’, but did not receive any response. The place was clean and fine to stay in. There no issue with it. But the attitude really put me off and I sure will not book this place again.
