The room was spacious and very clean, with a view of the Tenryu River. The bedding, which even included a hot water bottle, was very comfortable. They provided transportation to the nearest station, and I was able to eat in my room even though I was traveling alone, so I was grateful that I could eat without worrying about the people around me. There were few guests at the bath, so I had the large public bath almost all to myself. The large public bath was equipped with shampoo and conditioner, as well as hair treatment and all-in-one gel, so it was a very convenient experience. I was very satisfied with the delicious draft beer I ordered from room service after the hot spring. As other people have said in their reviews, the dinner was very delicious, but the portions were large (for me, although this may vary from person to person). There was a menu so I knew what would come next, but I couldn't tell the portions from the menu, so I started by eating a little of everything, but I didn't want to leave anything behind, so even though I had saved my lunch that day, I felt like I was challenging my limits at the end. I think I would have been able to enjoy the dinner more if they had offered a "small portion course." By the way, the photo is not of all the dishes that were served, but the first dish that was brought to me. I had breakfast alone in my room on the second floor. This was also luxurious, and I couldn't get around to having a second helping of rice. It was a shame that they only offered tea, not coffee. Also, it may vary depending on the room, but the internet in my room was really weak, and I had to give up on what I wanted to do on my computer. For dinner, instead of eating in the dining area, we were allowed to use an empty guest room as a dining room, and they carefully brought us hot food other than the appetizers. They are very careful about infection control. The taste was a little strong, but it was a fun meal with ingenuity. Breakfast is served in a large hall, but there is a good distance between the dishes, so you can eat with peace of mind. The sunki soba was delicious, and the Shinshu miso miso soup was also good. There were many young staff members, and they were smart but attentive to detail, and I look forward to staying there again in the future. It seems that the area is famous for flower cultivation, and there are many wonderful arrangements displayed inside the building.
