Fantastic! Well priced room with comfy bed! Food was excellent, tasting freshly cooked. View across harbour at breakfast time was unexpected and very appreciated, and that was after a night of rain, I imagine it would be amazing with blue sky!

We did not stay at the hotel, just visited the pub. It has two bars and a patio garden overlooking the harbour. Too cold in the evening to sit outside so first we went into the rear bar. Pool table and locals who gave us "the eye", so we tried the front bar. This appears to be the hotel lounge and much more comfortable. The staff were good though the drinkds were at hotel prices. Probably cheaper for the locals in the rear bar.

Just spent 2 nights at the hotel right on the harbourside. In short I thoroughly recommend. My room harbour view, comfortable, exceptionally clean, well appointed. What totally makes this hotel is the friendly and efficient staff. 5 stars to Louise and Joan who were outstanding. If you're looking for a friendly hotel with a nice bar serving good drinks and food then look no further. I will certainly be back.

Booked very last minute for one night. Guy at reception was very helpful. Room was lovely overlooking the harbour and we were able to check in early which was a bonus. Breakfast was good too. We will definitely stay here again.

A fab view on a hot day.Local to the area we called in for lunch on a day out.Weather was great so we sat outside,lovely views over the harbour,lots of people watching,drinks prices pretty good tbh.The place,I believe,is under new management, so obviously teething troubles, but the staff were great, lovely friendly young guy in the bar told us they are having a chef from Thailand very soon.Anyway,we had 2 curries,1 prosecco,I gin,I large red,1 pimt of lager,very reasonable price,we sat there for 2 hours.Very enjoyable.

The male receptionist was friendly and helpful.. our room no 35 was up about for flights of stairs …it was a struggle for us old girls !! The room was clean and tidy the letdown was the shower … the bottom wasn’t finished off no pride in work .. and the shower needs grouting…

Bar was welcoming and the staff running it, good beer and also champagne we had pre-ordered to celebrate! Rooms were all harbour view and though some of the couples had read reviews on the way there and were moaning. They were all pleasantly surprised and said their rooms were nice. 4 couples. We walked to the tunnel beachs, the shopping areas, had day beers and went out to the local bars until midnight. They were all busy, but lovely atmosphere. Lovely place to visit. Breakfast was basic but ok, but you would have to say good for the price.
