Enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this lovely hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Great facilities too. Very convenient for the beach and harbour. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! Great quality and super tasty! Lorinda the owner couldn’t do enough to make me feel welcome. I will definitely stay again! Thanks Lorinda!

Stayed at the Darnley Hotel for one night and found my room to be clean and comfortable. Had a lovely hot shower and a pleasant nights sleep.

Lovely, clean hotel with onsite parking and within walking distance of the town centre. We were made to feel welcome and the cooked breakfast set us up for the day.

Lovely base for a holiday in Ilfracombe. Short 10mins walk into the town and all of the attractions and conveniences. Room was clean and airy with all the facilities we needed. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and the cooked breakfast was fantastic!

Reasonable stay in an old house with character
The hotel was easy to find but through a narrow gateway, in a larger car it might have been difficult.The room was clean, and money had been spent, but the finish was poor. Outside needed a tidy up.The bar did not open as scheduled, seemed a bit disorganised. Breakfast small but otherwise alright. Acceptable for the price.

Great afternoon tea. Lovely sat outside in a private garden in the sun. Loads of food and drink. Hostess/owner was very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend a visit.

Amazing experience in my room top number 7 I sleep like a heaven after a long day walking on tbe beach i need it a good sleep bed is comfortable and it's so clean the hotel spotless thanks very much I will highly recommend the owners amazing couple very helpful it.Aleida Chalmers
