Motel 6 Ilion, NY

The motel was perfect for what we needed. Close to the highway....super comfortable big and clean rooms and super friendly staff. Motel 6 was perfect stopover on the way to my business meeting. I would highly recommend and I'll be back at my next trip.

I had a very pleasant stay at Motel 6, Ilion, NY. It was on par with Motel 6 standards, an economical, clean stay. The staff was courteous and friendly and the location was very convenient for me. I feel confident recommending this hotel for your stay in the area. Safe travels!

Motel 6 Ilion, NY was an Amazing stay clean and comfortable staff was very helpful would definitely stay here again there's also very nice restaurants in the area that are cute nothing glamourous but good vibe also its right off the I90 NY STATE Thruway

Took three people to check me in because their credit card reader wasn’t working, and everyone had to have a try. It’s 2024 — figure out a reliable way to take credit cards. Ended up charging me twice (they allegedly refunded the overcharge). First room they sent me to hadn’t been cleaned. The second had theoretically been cleaned but was pretty dirty. Some kind of brown gunk in the toilet bowl and one of the “clean” bath towels had fresh blood stains on it. Floor gritty and dirty. Cigarette smell though it was supposed to be a no-smoking room. Very thin walls - you hear everything from adjoining rooms. WiFi essentially useless. I put the heater up to 80 to keep the room minimally comfortable — cold air pours in from door and windows. I wasn’t expecting the Ritz, but asking $92 for this place was beyond ballsy.

Much improved from our last visit. New towels, fresher looking appearance of the room and the tv worked this time

Apparently there was a recent news story or some other information about the motel being used by the local Catholic Charities to house pedophiles, ************, or other types of restricted people. During my two night stay at least 10-15 trucks and cars yelled profanities and other comments about getting jobs, get clean, leave the kids alone at me and other guests if anyone was in the parking lot. I will not ever stay at this property again regardless of the price based on the feeling of not being safe from the local townspeople.

It took about 20 minutes to check in . The girl at the desk was not answering the bell or the phone . The place was dirty my room had so many flies . There was a glue fly trap hanging from the ceiling. We had a problem with the tv it took awhile for someone to come back after looking at it to fix it and the WiFi didn’t work! I would not go there again!
