Ich hatte für letzte Woche dort ein Zimmer gebucht, leider bin letzte Woche erkrankt und lag im Bett. Ich konnte das Zimmer aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht stornieren. Natürlich hat das Hotel jetzt den Anspruch die gesamte Zimmerrate von mir zu verlangen. Mein Arbeitgeber übernimmt die Stornogebühren nicht, so dass ich das privat bezahlen muss. Ich bat das Hotel, mir irgendwie entgegen zu kommen, wenn ich ersatzweise diese Woche dort übernachten würde. Der Chef des Hotels hat jegliches Entgegenkommen absolut abgelehnt.

The room was comfortable and clean, but it is an older property so all luggage has to go up the stairs. The staff were all friendly and efficient. Since we were touring and have an electric car, the fact that there are two charge points was very handy and indeed influenced our choice of hotel. You can charge your car for a flat fee of 15 Euros.

Stopped by at the Hotel Am Schloss cafe for coffee on our way to the Muzium. The interior deco is cozy and contemporary. Nice ambient and good a**osphere for chatting and get together. Sitting arrangement and seats are spacious. Relaxing and comfortable for four of us to catch up. Friendly and courteous service. The coffee is aromatic and nice to drink. We enjoyed the afternoon coffee. Cheers.

Bare en enkelt overnatning tæt på motorvejen. Meget rolige omgivelser. Store værelser og nyt badeværelse. Fik øl på det lokale bryggeri lige neden for slottet og et let måltid på vinbaren i byen.

Overall this was an excellent place in a charming building.
I have only minor suggestions for improvement.
Since we had the family room on the top floor the walls in the bathroom were severely restricting the possibility to stand in the shower. The glass wall that should help to protect the floor from flooding when showering unfortunately had a seal that did not quite reach the lower right corner of the bathtub causing large amounts of water to spill to the floor. Insect screens in front of the windows would be good since there are quite many mosquitoes and windows must be open due to lack of aircon. One of the windows would benefit from being fitted with a method to keep it fully open rather than falling down to leave a small opening. Breakfast was suitable except the boiled eggs could have been warm.
