Incheon Airporthotel Airstay

We booked this hotel for a quick overnight stay near Incheon Airport since our flight arrived late. The receptionist, although her English was limited, was very kind and tried her best to help us — she even upgraded us to a bigger room as it was already past midnight. The room was spacious, but there was no heating, so it felt a bit cold in winter. The walls were slightly damp, but since we only stayed for one night, it wasn’t a big issue. The location is also quite convenient, not far from the train station to Seoul. Overall, it was fine for a short layover stay.

The message indicated to arrange for airport transfer 3 days in advance. I tried to make an arrangement at least 1 month before but the hotel refused to set up. I thought maybe it was too long away, so I tried to call again 1-2 days before I flew over to Incheon. But I was still told to call again when I reached Incheon airport. That's what I did in the end. Because the hotel suddenly stopped their WhatsApp account, I have to use the trip.com internet call to contact them. The airport transfer to the hotel did not materialise because of the poor communication. Instruction was given to wait at 3F gate 7 but I was at 1F gate 7. Because of the poor communication protocol, they could not call when they did not see me. Upon not seeing me, they just went off without anyone informing me. So in the end I waited at the airport for a minimal 45mins before I used an internet call to find out from them that they went there, did not see anyone then went off.

I had a great stay in this hotel. The room is big and clean. I took a shuttle bus to go to the airport. I would come back there again.

We love our stay at the hotel but I was disappointed during our check.out because when we went down at the lobby at 4am I can not find the receptionist for how many minutes. I search for some notes maybe he goes to the bathroom but nothing. I did not expect that there is no one at the front desk since it is 24hrs. I understand maybe he had some personal matters he took care but since our flight is 6:55 in the morning I was a little bit pissed. Thanks God he came after a few minutes. I suggest that maybe it is good to leave a note or memo if ever the person at the front desk has some personal matters to do so that costumers will wait patiently. Thank you.
