Went for a weekend staycation with my kids (4.5 years and 18 mo), stayed for two nights. POOLS: The pool area was perfect, not too crowded plenty of different pool areas to spread out. Splash pad and wading pool were hits for my toddler, while my older daughter loved the lazy river. We brought our on floaties but did not have to because there seemed to always be a few available. My older daughter was sad she wasn't tall enough (42 in minimum) to ride the smaller slide but we saw other parents taking their little ones with them on their laps, though not sure that was safe so we did not opt to to that. Lots of people got there early to claim chairs especially around the lazy river. ROOM: VERY SPACIOUS and seemed newly remodeled. We were kindly upgraded from a two queen room to a two KING room. Very clean. Bed comfy. Great blackout curtains. There was only a bench and stool though to sit on next to a rounded table. Wish there was a more comfy chair to relax in. SERVICE: Everyone was very helpful and nice at the front desk. Housekeeping was fast and efficient. Shout out to Nigi for making our stay extra special with some extra snacks for my girls and granting us an early check-in! PARKING: EV Charging on site for free! There were at least 8 spots but since there is no regulation on how long you are allowed to park there. We noticed some cars parked there and never move all day and night, basically occupying a precious spot unnecessarily. FOOD/DRINK: The food and drinks at the pool area were not so great. I saw the bartender spill a good 15% of the liquid content of my drink as he was pouring it in my cup and then just top it off with ice. We got the loaded fries with carne asada, which looked better than they tasted. The meat ($7 extra) was very very salty and almost inedible. OTHER AMENITIES: - Gym was great, love that it was open 24 hours as I went at 11pm both nights. Clean and well equipped. - They had a movie night on the lawn both nights. Sign said "7:30pm" so a bunch of families came but nothing was happening and no staff was there. So we called to ask and someone eventually came at 7:50ish to tell us someone else would be coming soon to get the projector up when it was darker. No big deal, but maybe the sign could have said "movie at sunset". - Tennis courts were open and had pickle ball and tennis equipment out to just pick up and start playing. Had fun trying pickle ball for the first time! We read there was construction going on, but did not notice any. Seemed like most areas were done being remodeled. All and all, highly recommend and will be back again next summer hopefully!
