Upon arrival we had a good check in. No thank you please or even a smile. I get it was busy but this is supposed to be hospitality. I had two rooms; room 1 was ok and pretty much set up as executive but in my past experiences and expectations of Hilton Embassy was let down. The chairs were ripped and in bad condition. Not a place I’d bring exec’s to discuss business. Pretty sad it’s slipped like this. Room 2 smelled like smoke in which we reported via text; phones don’t work most likely for a reason . They don’t want calls. We told them we’d stick it out. But the next morning my wife had headaches and we asked to be cleaned. They asked if we’d be gone and we said yes please go ahead and also provide new sheets and towels. We returned and and had 2 towels. PAUL TO THE RESCUE!!! When we returned I went to the desk and Paul was able to take care of us. Defined Management material with his kindness and courtesy. And with a smile. My opinion he should be running the place with his demeanor. He was actually the only one to follow up. Great person!!! Again I am said to see this Brand go on the side like this. I’ve been staying for decades and to see this was shocking. Get your staff including the breakfast team to FORCE a smile. It shows that you care. My wife also took a. Washcloth to the wall; you’ll be surprised to the color. Guys/Gals- Get it together perhaps Paris may want to stop and stay some day. Your loyal Customer . Dr. King
