Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis-Downtown

There was fecal matter on our bed sheets and it took the hotel over an hour to get them properly changed. Even expecting us to change them ourselves. Disgusting and ridiculous. To this point there has been no compensation or attempt to make amends of any sort. Do not stay here!

WORST STAY DUE TO PARKING. You have to pay about $50 for valet parking but come to find out they just park your car across the STREET for FREE!!! Why am I paying $50 for valet to just be parked across the street! For it being valet I thought my car would've been parked in a secure parking garage. If parking is that easy I could’ve parked myself and saved $50. This is very ridiculous and no the way to handle valet parking. Never staying here again.

This awesome location is in the heart of Indianapolis and everything within walking distance. Used this hotel for business guests on the busiest weekend of the year for Indianapolis and it was truly a 5 Star experience for all our guests. Their sales team is out of this world, and this will be my "go to" location for guests. Accommodated multiple check in / check out dates for the group. Made my job so easy and stress free. Need a place to stay? This is the place!

We’ve stayed here multiple times and each visit has been perfect. There is construction near the hotel right now (to be expected in a big city). But the location and ease cannot be beat!

Great location in the heart of the city. Easy walk to Great food and entertainment. The free hot breakfast put out by Angela makes for a great start to the day.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! It’s a beautiful building and we loved the suite style that was perfect for our family with 3 little kids. Bonus for our boys there was construction outside our window and it wasn’t noisy so they loved watching the big machines. Valet was very helpful and set up our belongings in the room, concierge was very accommodating, and breakfast staff was friendly (Angela and Lucious). We enjoyed the pool and easy walk to Old Spaghetti Factory. It was relatively close to the children’s museum that we spent two days at. We loved our stay!

I loved my sojourn at the downtown Indy Homewood so much I extended it two nights! The property, a historic repurposed building a close walk to the convention center and Monument Circle, is charming and very well kept. I did wish there was a more conspicuous sign at street-level that marks the entrance as the Homewood Suites—if you’re not careful or familiar, you might zip past it (more of a concern for pedestrians on the sidewalk, not vehicles traveling by). The staff was extraordinarily professional and kind. They worked to place me in one of their interior-facing rooms, which was absolutely silent—perfect for me. The lady at breakfast in particular is a rockstar…so helpful and hospitable! I love her! Thank you!! The room I received was an unexpected delight—a newly-renovated suite integrating modern technology (e.g. wireless charging ports, oversized TV, multiple USB outlets by the bed) seamlessly with classic features native to the building’s history. I especially ADORED the exposed brick. The beds were comfortable, and the entire quarters was reasonably clean. I appreciated having two large work tables to lay out my things and try to be productive. If I could share one main area to improve, it would be the business center, a tiny alcove tucked behind the wall of the front desk with a basic computer, printer, and perhaps a few items of stationery. The computer kept crashing while I was touching up my website on SquareSpace, twice to be exact—and despite trying to save my progress consistently, I still lost much of my work. I understand that website editing may be overwhelming for an older computer, but what are guests supposed to do? Shouldn’t a business center be equipped to allow users to perform such functions on its computers? The staff unfortunately seemed a bit indifferent to the issues. After two freeze-ups, I quit—sigh. In a major business and convention hub like Indianapolis, it may be a nice idea to maintain a high-quality, reliable area of the hotel to conduct business like polishing a website! Maybe my expectations are too high. At a nightly rate of approximately 150, I was extremely satisfied with my experience and the value of it. I will quickly return in the future!
