Omni Severin Hotel

This was a bucket list stay for my daughter and being able to afford this night was so very special. I just wish it could have been for one more night to actually get to really enjoy the room. We were not even there 24 hours. We have recently gone through quite a lot of difficult changes in our lives that have taken so much from us and forced us to completely pivot. Giving this to her was such a gift to me. The idea of staying in the room was special enough but when we got there and the text messages prior to check in took this OVER THE TOP! Your front desk staff was AMAZING, your valet workers were AMAZING, and then to go in the room and see the small touch of a HAND WRITTEN card and snacks waiting for us...you made us feel so special and seen. Don't get me started on the robes! My daughter has now asked for one for her birthday! I was just so blown away by the entire experience! The Plaza Suite with balcony...holy cow!!! This was a night that neither my daughter nor myself will ever forget. I will do whatever I have to do in order to save every single extra penny I have so that I can see that look on her face when we opened that door one more time. Thank you for everything. It was the large and small details that made our few hours in your hotel such an unforgettable moment in our lives. My advice to anyone will now be, SAVE THE PENNYS! If only to experience what we were able to experience in the way too few, short hours we got to stay here at the Omni Severin Hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana

What a refreshing experiene to have a hotel that actually exceeds your expectations. Our room was fantastic, comfortable and everything worked. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful.

Room was clean, location was wonderful, bed was EXCELLENT with superior linens! The staff was very friendly and the lobby had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend staying here fir your Indy trip!

Poor service, inaccurate billing, and long valet if there is a concert. Our bill was incorrect in the morning-we had a charge at the breakfast place, which we had not visited. We had extra charges at the bar, which we didn’t spend. We waited 1.5 hours hours for valet, granted this was the same afternoon as a co meet downtown. But the no. 1 reason I am writing this is that the front desk staff said they would correct our bill for us and send an updated receipt, but did neither of these. Then when I submitted a contact us form to the Omni about it, I still haven’t heard back. So maybe your stay will be perfect-I hope so! But if it’s not, don’t expect to get your concerns addressed.

When I pay $500 per night I have certain expectations. I do not expect to sit for 1 hour waiting to get to the valet station. I witnessed the same issue on the 2nd my night of my stay so it was not an isolated incident. This needs to be resolved by management or don't offer valet. When I expressed my frustration at check in the clerk said "we are busy tonight"; the hotel should be staffed to handle the incoming guests. I also went to the bar for a drink and the service was lacking except for 1 bartender. She was doing the same amount of work as the 3 other bartenders who were all working in slow motion. Again I will repeat for $500 a night the service should be representative. When I departed it took 35 minutes for the valet to bring my car. The hotel knows how many guests are departing and should be staffed to handle the outflow. I would expect this overall service at a budget chain motel but not at the Omni. Save your money and go to a different hotel in downtown.

If you are going to concert at Lucus oil stadium I would stay at a different hotel. The location is great, but everything else is not. The valet service is understaffed which will cause you to wait for an unreasonable amount of time to check in. This could, as it did for me, make you late for an event you are trying to get to. The hotel management does not plan well for major events. Room service was not good in getting the food to the room while the food was still hot. I ordered breakfast and coffee, and both were barely warm. I will say that the rooms were clean, but the lighting in the rooms are very dim, so I think they were clean.....

Location-Indianapolis, Omni Severin. Valet parking took over an hour to park and 45 minutes to leave, despite knowing in advance that the hotel was full and the valet staff was limited. Poor bar and food service in the hotel lobby. The hotel room was clean, but the air conditioning wasn't working; only the room fan was, and the sink remained clogged.

Had an excellent stay. Room was ready early on our arrival. Hotel looks new on the inside-everything fresh appearing and clean. Suite was very spacious though bathroom was disappointingly small with almost no counter space. Bed was super comfortable. Did not use pool. Room service was fine. Restaurant in lobby with limited options and mediocre food. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance. 10 min drive to zoo. Overall we were very happy with our stay
