La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Indianapolis Downtown

It was going well, easy parking it looked clean and a convenient area. The problem was when we went to bed I was woken up at 2am by an itch on my arm and then my leg. Turned on the lights and found a huge bed bug!!! I put it in a cup and took it down to the reception, he didn’t seem to be yo worried about the situation and I didn’t want to make a fuss about it because I was tired and had to get up at 5am and just wanted another room to get some sleep. Didn’t get an apology or nothing!

The hotel was ok. Overwhelming smell of cleaning product. Scetchy parking with not cameras. Elevator and ice machine out of service. Both mornings the free breakfast was out of food and not replaced. Our mattress had some nasty stains. And oh did I mention it was right next to the Indianapolis Coty helicopter landing pod, which happen to be very active all thru the night.

This place is the absolute worse. I paid over $300 for one night. The bathtub had soap scum all over the tub, no trash cans in bathroom, the air conditioner didn’t work right, it smelled horrible. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again if the world was coming to an end. Also the guy at the front desk was absolutely horrible and didn’t speak hardly any good English.

Walked to st. Elmo's and to the fieldhouse for a show. Saved a lot not paying to park.

Based on the price, and my experience at other la quintas, i though this would be a decent place. Not fancy, but new/modern. Actually it's more of an older hotel with some minor updates. It's not awful, just seemed overpriced for the general property vs other options in Indy. Its almost exactly like the best western hotel in dowtown chicago on Ohio street. My complaint is only about the price for what it is. I would happily stay there if the rate was half of the more upscale hotels. It was average in every way, which i am ok with... but the price suggested a premium experience.

The service was really good, room was really nice and clean. The only problem that I had was there was spots on the sheets and comforter, the drain in the bathroom sink was clogged, but other than those things everything was nice. I will most definitely stay again in the future.

Run down dirty hotel. Floors in the room were filthy. Towels had POO stains on them...definitely not laundered. Bugs in the tub. Bathroom sink was backed up, would not drain. DO NOT STAY HERE!

HEAT DIDNT WORK AND WOULDNT REDUND OR PUT ME IN ANOTHER ROOM
