The rooms were adequate and had the normal shower facilities etc. The breakfast was disappointing. I had to ask for the scrambled egg as the serving dish was empty, and also asking for the chocolate au pain. The breakfast area is not monitored properly because with only one person on duty, he could not be expected to do everything. Good parking. Plenty of nearby restaurants within walking distance.

Booked this hotel due to ionity electric superchargers behind the hotel. Great to see that b&b will be putting in their own. Very comfortable bed. Room clean and able to put on electric heater. A great nights sleep after 7 hours driving. Can recommend L’escala for food. I had reserved the room 5 months ago and was planning on having mc Donald’s breakfast opposite but then found out they don’t do McDonald’s breakfast in France. But of course had forgotten I had not added it. Hotel staff were lovely and polite in letting me to know.

Lovely little hotel used as an overnight stop off heading down to the South of France. Arrived very late but was greeted by a pleasant man who gave us our room details. Clean, functional basic room with the added bonus of tea/coffee making facilities. Woke up refreshed & ready for the final part of our journey. Good room rate too!

We had booked a room in the context of a walk on the GR654. The accommodation is well located, not requiring diversion pa from the GR. The room is spacious and clean. Beautiful bathroom. The owner had rented all the other rooms (5 or 6?) to a group who, legitimately, cooked and dinned on site and discussed noisy until 2.30 p.m. We did not close the eye before this moment, given the level of decibels. OK place to occupy in group but to avoid if you travel in solo/pair.
