Hotel - Gasthof Zum Anker

nice family-run hotel with a good Bavarian restaurant. The room was simple but clean and fairly recently renovated.

Small, pleasant, familiar-looking hotel, which in my case impresses with its close proximity to the theater. The restaurant belonging to the hotel is also very cozy and enlivens the inn in the evening. Unfortunately, the restaurant often closes very early (understandably depending on the frequency). It's not always possible to stop in after the theater, although I wouldn't expect food (serves until 9pm - wonderful!), just the opportunity to chat with friends over a drink. The rooms (I got to know two) are relatively large with well thought-out furnishings and a television that is almost too big, which requires a certain distance, which is actually not always given. The bathroom with a spacious, open shower has two lighting options, one in the center and one on the mirror. The LED mirror lighting is actually intended as permanent lighting, because it has a digitally displayed time display. In one room it was linked to the central bathroom lighting, i.e. the setting of the time, which I proudly managed, disappeared irreversibly every time the lighting was switched off. In the other room it could be set permanently without always having to turn on the ventilation fan. What was striking was the friendly atmosphere and the particularly nice staff, from reception to room service! All requests were dealt with immediately without any problems. Wlan worked perfectly without a password! A hotel I will gladly return to.

Friendly service and welcoming, beautiful rooms.

Unfortunately just ok. We spent a night in the hotel as a family. When we arrived we met for coffee. Unfortunately, there was a small mishap on the employee's part, which can always happen and wasn't serious. We then asked if we could get another pancake soup for our 2 year old daughter. They said no, the kitchen is closed. Which would have taken 5 minutes. But OK. The rooms are very clean, but for the price per night you would expect at least a bottle of water in the room. Unfortunately there wasn't much choice for breakfast either. There are also no parking facilities. It's a disgrace to charge such an overpriced price for a room without a refrigerator. Unfortunately, that doesn't match the price performance at all. Therefore never again!

Room dirty, water flows with difficulty in the shower, so it almost runs into the room. Previous bathrooms clearly visible - hair, dirty shower walls. The toilet broom is extremely dirty - I didn't even want to touch it, the remote control was sticky and damaged. The room is extremely noisy, you can hear every step. Breakfast ok. I absolutely cannot recommend the house, you can get much better accommodation in the city for the same money. The staff is generally friendly, as long as you don't end up with the wrong person.

The room we had was an imposition. 108€ for 13.5 sqm including bathroom. A balcony on which there was an ashtray that was full of cigarettes, some of them very old (not emptied in ages). A disgusting sewer smell coming from the bathroom. The room facing the balcony had to remain closed during kitchen opening times because the exhaust air comes out of the side roof and doesn't smell particularly good. Hotel definitely not recommended.
