We'd stayed here in 2022 and had a good experience. We liked the young couple who had purchased the place. The somewhat crudely renovated bathroom I interpreted as evidence of their commi**ent to the place and their sweat equity. This year we again booked 2 rooms. The electronic door code provided for my wife's and my room was wrong (a 7 digit code). Our kids got a 4 digit code and got in fine. No combo of our 7 digits provided digits worked. I called and used VM to leave a message as instructed. With no return call, we went to dinner. We got our kids into their room; no problem. I went to the office and rang the bell on the counter as the sign instructed. No response. Written instructions gave more #'s and names to call; Maria, Jana, On-site manager Sam. All VM. It took nearly an hour for an apologetic call with a correct code. I understand mistakes happen; but the backup systems here did not work. Also: Our kids found bottles of water in their room. My wife and I did not. The only bath soap provided was "Pumpkin spice"; my fragrance for the night. And before leaving the next morning at 6:30am, I went to the lobby and there weren't muffins, yogurt, fruit and coffee as had been there the prior year. I see that this place is now billed as a "Self Service Hotel" Be on notice.
