"We stayed for 3 nights and the place was very clean. They cleaned our room everyday, which was nice. The location is great, just a short walk to Faiza Restaurant and Globus Supermarket.
The staff were friendly, always smiling, and very accommodating. They even let us rest in the lobby and stored our luggage when we arrived early before check-in time.
Amenities are a bit limited though there’s a small café but no gym or sauna. Breakfast is basic and almost the same every day, but it’s fine for a quick start to the day.
Overall, it’s a nice and comfortable hotel. Good location, clean rooms, and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again."

"The second time I came to Bishkek, I stayed at the Sofia Chinese Hotel. I stayed here when I came last summer. It was good in all aspects.
👉The hotel is quite new, the single bed is quite spacious, and the bedding is comfortable, so I slept very well. The service is very good. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know Russian. The hotel has Chinese staff who know Mandarin. Of course, you can also use the translation to communicate with the local waiters.
👉There is free mineral water, tea and coffee. There is a restaurant downstairs. It is not far from the city center and it is very convenient to go everywhere."

"For this business trip and vacation in Kyrgyzstan, I chose the Kyrgyz Star Hotel, and I must say it was an absolutely wise decision; the entire stay was perfect.
**Excellent Location:** The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. Whether going to Ala-Too Square in the city center or to major business districts, transportation is very easy. There are also good restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making shopping and daily life very convenient.
**Comfortable and Clean Rooms:** We stayed in a twin room, which was more spacious and bright than I expected. The bedding was very comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. Most importantly, the room was spotless, the bathroom facilities were clean and modern, and the hot water supply was stable and plentiful—crucial for a weary traveler.
**Impeccable Service:** This is the hotel's most commendable aspect! From the front desk to the restaurant to room service, every staff member was smiling and incredibly attentive. The front desk staff are fluent in Chinese, Russian, and English, making communication seamless. They responded quickly and resolved any minor issues we encountered, making us feel very reassured."

"The front desk staff spoke excellent English, which is not common in Kyrgyzstan. The room was also quite large, though a little dimly lit. While the facilities weren't new, they were well-maintained, and the bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast was also quite good, with delicious flavors and the coffee being homemade."

__M1385979****The room is small, and it was still small after upgrading for an additional fee. The front desk was very helpful, and it was convenient to go out. The downstairs is connected to the mall. The SPA environment is poor, the SPA service attitude is not good, and the quality of the massage oil is not good. Because of the poor service attitude and the poor massage oil, I didn't expect it and didn't want to spend money to suffer. The Japanese dining environment is good, mainly because we booked a tatami seat, and the rigid consumption is about 450 US dollars. The three of us ate for one night and only ate about 300 US dollars. No matter what, we couldn't afford 450 US dollars. As a result, when paying the bill, we had to pay 450 US dollars, and then we were allowed to take it away. This is the first time I have encountered such a ”hard” management method of an international five-star hotel. It's just one seat, and the business is average. There are not many people. We didn't sit in that seat, so it was probably empty.

Not exactly in the prime sight-seeing area but that is offset by their relatively affordable local ride hailing service and the walkable distance to multiple dining options and convenience stores.

- Good location close to the city center.
- Quite modern architecture and interior.
- Not bad breakfast.
Cons:
- Our rooms were not ready when we arrived around 18:00. At our request, we received welcome drinks as compensation.
- Although we asked for two rooms on the side of the hotel opposite the road, one of our rooms still faced the road.
- Even with the windows closed, the road could be heard at night (7th floor). This worsened our sleep.
- Two types of pillows. One of the pillows was really uncomfortable.
- The air conditioners in both rooms did not work, the remote displays showed an error.
- Quite weak water pressure in the showers.
- The girl at the reception could not give us any documents when we checked out.
As a result, the hotel, in our opinion, does not correspond to the level of 5 stars. Its level is 4 stars.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is located near the center of Biscay. It is quite convenient to travel. You need a car to travel easily. But surprisingly, there is no parking. Breakfast is okay. The room size is okay. But the room I got smelled a bit of cigarette smoke. Overall, it is good. But I think the price is high compared to what you get. So-so.

GGuest UserLovely quiet hotel/hostel with clean rooms. I stayed in a dorm with 4 beds. The bed have lights and curtains and inside the room are lockers, a fridge, microwave, electric kettle and a table. Opposite the room was a bathroom and toilet and throughout the building are filtered water tap points and even on the kitchen there's a tap with filtered water so you can wash your fruit and vegetables with filtered water if you want.
The only thing I missed was hooks in the room to hang the towel and a small shelf next to the bed for my phone and such.
You have to take off your shoes to enter the hotel and you can use these singel use hotel slippers which are thrown away when you leave. This creates loads of unnecessary rubbish which is a shame.

Location - Close to the Osh bazaar, banks, mini markets, and some eateries.
Rooms—The rooms were sparkling clean, and the view on the 5th floor was nice. The air conditioner, hot water, and Wi-Fi all worked well.
I would stay here again.
