"It was better than I expected for the price - the mattress was great, the sheets and towels impeccably clean, you get 2 drinks and 2 coffee mixes in the fridge, a pouch with body products, there is a water heater, hair products… I had everything I needed for one night. It would be ok for me for a few more as I didn’t need much space or a closet - if you do, know that there is no closet and no space in the bathroom to keep your things there. I think for 2 people it would be less comfortable, bit depends on the person. It was quiet at night, I slepy great. There was someone there to give me the room card at 8pm when I arrived, in the am, I just left yhe card. Also an espresso machine downstairs. And it’s right downtown. All and all, I liked it."

"I arrived about 30 minutes early, but they helped me check in early. The room was more spacious than I expected, and as a newly built hotel, the interior and bedding were very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The generous supply of towels was also a plus. Some reviews were disappointing about the lake view, but the view of the mountains behind us and the quiet surrounding roads gave us the feeling of being in a quiet rural village. The bakery on the first floor offers a 50% discount after 6 p.m., and the bread was delicious and reasonably priced, making it a satisfying breakfast. The location was also convenient, with a Starbucks nearby and close proximity to Andong Hahoe Folk Village. I would definitely return if I get the chance."

"Had a good stay here. I loved the central location, because all the local attractions and local buses are within walking distance. Besides, Iit is only about 20 minutes by bus from the Andong KTX/Expressbus station.
The bedroom was clean. I had to get used to having no sheet, but to have sleep under the plaid directly.
In the bathroom there was a little problem, but they took care of it right away when I asked them too."

"Gotaya Guesthouse thrives on the community of its guests. The information we received from other guests and volunteers was incredibly helpful in making the most of our short stay in Andong.
The guesthouse's cleanliness is average, but of course, it always depends on the guests. The large kitchen offers plenty of options for preparing your own meals. A basic breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, toast, butter, and jam is included. A large supermarket is within walking distance for self-catering. Drinks and snacks can also be purchased at the guesthouse at reasonable prices.
Our small twin room was of average cleanliness and otherwise as pictured. The smaller spring mattress was rock hard, while the larger one was more comfortable. The twin room shares the spacious bathroom with the men's dorm. It's a plus that the shower is far away from the toilet, so the entire bathroom doesn't get flooded when you shower. The washing machine is free to use. There's a covered terrace where you can relax and chat with other guests.
Free parking is available in front of the building along the street."

"The room is quite small, but very cozy and clean. There is everything you need (hygiene products, robes, slippers, hair dryer, hair straightener, refrigerator, TV, computer). Friendly staff, you can drink coffee and have a snack in the lobby. The price for the room is very affordable. The only minus is the air conditioner opposite the bed."

FFeihuangThe hotel's facilities are excellent, with a picturesque garden and uniquely designed rooms, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation and experiencing traditional Korean culture. The breakfast features authentic local dishes and is definitely worth trying, demonstrating the hotel's attention to detail.
However, there are some issues. First, the hotel's address is incorrect. The actual lobby address is 186-20 Jeonseo-ro, Pungcheon-myun, Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, near the Hahoe Village Visitor Center parking lot. The currently listed address is actually for a detached house, requiring check-in at the lobby before being taken inside. Going directly there during the off-season results in no one being able to assist. I suggest the hotel and Ctrip correct this immediately. I've included a screenshot of the address in my review. Also, the actual phone number is +82-1088603410, while the current number is for the Seoul branch. I recommend this also be corrected.

GGuest UserThis is one of the two accommodations that I was satisfied with during my 5-night, 6-day trip.
First of all, the location is good because it is in Andong City, and it was especially good for ordering delivery food.
When traveling with a family of 4, we put two beds together and blocked the chairs or tables outside to prevent the children from falling out of the bed, and we were satisfied with the two very large mattresses that were attached.
I would visit again when I visit Andong.

GGuest UserOpen the door and you'll find yourself right at the convenience store. Galbi Alley is 30 seconds away, Iljik Restaurant (a famous braised mackerel restaurant) is a 2-minute walk away, and Mammoth Bakery is a 3-minute walk down another street. It's all right around the corner.
It's the coldest day of the winter, but the heating is so good that the floors are toasty. Yesterday, when I slept in a hanok, it was so cold I had to wear a mask, but the heating at the Koryo Hotel is fantastic.
The bathtub is large, and there's a seat inside, which is convenient for washing up.
It's an older building, but it's spacious and well-cleaned.
The sheets are crisp and clean, which is nice.

It's a new development area with several restaurants, a supermarket and a cafe nearby. The staffs were kind too.

GGuest UserThe staff is very friendly and available. The hotel is clean and very nice. It is about 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal. Comfortable to stop one night and visit the Hahoe Village. In front of the terminal also goes bus 210 that leads to the village. All very simple. Of course if you want to stay in the city center, it is not the right place because there is absolutely nothing around. You need to go back to the terminal to find something to eat.
This is the charm of the literary coffee on the ground floor and the beautiful cats that are freely running.
The only negative point I think is that, while staying, if you want to spend time on the ground floor where there is coffee, you have to order something. Since there are no other common-use spaces, I think guests should be free to sit in the sofa away from the coffee shop tables. Furthermore, as the coffee shop is always empty, I have not seen any outside person in. I think that if a guest sits there, the cats are enjoyed, after a while, he is willing to order something, but in this way, obligeing the guests to order, I think they are negatively predisposing a person.

RRunzhi_LiI enjoyed my stay at Queen Motel Andong. This motel's location is excellent: it is right next to Homeplus, and it's also very close to 안동구시장, Andong Cultural Street, and Andong Food Street. The closest CU is around 200m away from the motel.
The room was well-equipped with all the basic facilities, and the bed was comfy. There is a coffee machine at the hotel lobby entrance, and there were also travel brochures provided at the check-in counter. There are also many bottles of mineral water provided at the end of the hallway on the floor I was staying.
Most importantly, the price was very reasonable. Would definitely considering staying at this motel again next time I visit Andong!

SSeoIt was my second trip to Andong with a friend in more than 10 years, and the Chiamgotok hostel was really a god. Last time I stayed in Hahoe Village, Andong, and it was a pity that it took too long to move. Chiamgotak is close to Andong Station/Market (taxi ride 5-10 minutes), and the atmosphere was so good. Especially if you stay in the Hodo Jae Room, you can use the table space on the floor, and it was so nice to be able to talk and talk overlooking the party and the yard. The room size was small but not very inconvenient because it was a home, the toilet seemed to use the other room in the public toilet, but the hodojae room is separately inside the room. Of course the size is very small. It may be a bit uncomfortable to stay for a long time, but I would definitely recommend staying for a day if you have time.

I felt like I was alone at night because there was too little sound.
When I told him that I was rehabilitating, he politely told me to go back and forth to the tourist spot. It was very helpful because my husband speaks English and Japanese.
The building was very old and the steps were large and difficult, but I felt that it was my wife's hobby that there were many beautiful and cute accessories in the room.

The cleanliness was second to none, and the parking instructions were friendly and prompt.
It's not close to major tourist attractions, but since we'll all be driving anyway, that's not a major issue.
