Our italian home We’ve been here 3 times and each time is better!! I cannot wait to go back again this August for a wedding! Close to the beach and good restaurants! Lovely family and amazing greek hospitality!! If you want to enjoy the island, stay in villa mata!!

Villa Mata best place ever !! The owner is fabulous, very kind, always good advice. The location is great, close to the beach and restaurants. This is the 3rd time I have come to Villa Mata and certainly not the last For sure the best place on Ios to spend your vacation !!

Villa Mata is always Villa Mata!!! We have been coming to Ios for many years and we have also had two other experiences, but honestly we have always willingly returned. Villa Mata is located in a very convenient location, between the port, the beach and the bus stop. The owner Lambros is a kind, helpful person, always ready to recommend places, beaches and restaurants with a smile. Absolutely fantastic view and great facilities - if you haven’t prepared a car or scooter rental be prepared for a challenging walk! Definitely worth it though, I would stay here in a heartbeat

Villa Mata is fantastic place to stay in if you are travelling to Ios. The villa itself is beautiful, surrounded by a fruitful garden and a quick walk to the beach (~1 minute). Also it is very close to the port, a supermarket and Chora. Lambros was extremely kind and always ensured we had what we needed. We will definitely be back 🇨🇦

Had an absolute terrific stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal only 1 minute walk to beach and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!!

The owner was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel itself is adorably quaint, but at the end of a large gravel lot. It’s a convenient walk to the port and walk (or bus) up to the Chora. The air conditioner didn’t work very well and the twin beds were uncomfortable. Overall a pleasant stay!
