The hotel is very comfortable, but unfortunately, after half the time, the hotel will be closed. When booking in advance, there is no notice that it will be closed.

The first time I visited the town of Ipswich and stayed at the Novotel Hotel, the staff was friendly, the check-in procedure was fast, and the check-out procedure was simple. Just put the key into the mailbox in the lobby to leave. The room is large and clean.

The hotel has recently been refurbished. It is a rather soulless building but clean modern and comfortable: Staff were attentive and there is a handy onsite car park. Nice bar but it lacks atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent. I will stay here next time I visit Ipswich.

I have been coming here year after year and now it has recently reopend, once again I’ve had another excellent stay in this wonderful hotel, great and lovely staff, beautiful spacious and clean rooms, an extensive breakfast and in a great location in the center of Ipswich a less than a 10-minute walk from the station, Ipswich Town FC football ground is a 5-minute walk. It is always a pleasure to be here and I don't know why I would ever choose any other hotel in Ipswich, for me it’s a home away from home!!

I had a room which was on the main road and it was extremely loud. I didn't get much sleep and therefore thought the overall stay was pretty average. I do like the location of the hotel as I can walk into the centre and go for dinner.

Hotel was ok and stylishly furnished. Public areas such as main stairwell and gym were not cleaned daily and main corridor carpets could do to be cleaned but otherwise a nice comfy hotel suitable for a base to stay whilst exploring
