The bad smell inside the room was awful. I could sleep all night. Also, there was bad smell in the hallway. It seemed like mold or old carpet caused the smell. The bathroom was not clean enough too. 😕

Absolutely disgusting. As soon as we stepped into the building we could tell it was going to be a bad time. -They advertised a pool. The pool was shut down and someone had been living in that building for a while. -We did not close the bathroom door all the way because the handle was falling off and it was dangerously close to locking someone in the room. - The shower head was practically unusable. A small burble of water came out but that was about it. Completely broken. - The toilet was constantly leaking and there were stains on the bathroom floor. The toilet paper holder was broken and looked like it had been broken for some time. - There were stains on the carpet and the walls. Trash on the floor, consisting of dirty cotton swabs and moldy food. -They advertise free Hulu, however if you actually want to watch Hulu or Netflix you have to use your own account to sign in. Someone else had signed into Netflix on the TV (definitely not the owners) so at least we had that for the night. - We were allowed to bring our two dogs with and they charged us $25 per dog, however I almost felt unsafe bringing my dogs in there because of how nasty was. Im surprised none of us got fleas or bed bugs. -The ice machine was broken so we had to go to the front desk to get ice. This isn’t the worst thing ever, however after reading multiple other reviews I have learned that the ice machine has been broken for several years. - They have a couple no smoking rooms, however you could probably smell the smoke from the other rooms and the hallway in the non-smoking rooms as well. We were given one that I believe you could smoke in, and the smell was so pungent that I refused to eat food in the room because it made me nauseous. - We wanted to open the windows to get some fresh air however they were painted shut. -There was weird and seductive wall art of a woman’s lips. Just weird decor for a hotel. - The bathroom had only 1 towel in it, definitely not enough for a full family visiting. - The air conditioning did not work - The TV was covered in grime and nastiness. The remote was sticky and I had to wash it off in order to use it. - Completely unsecured. Anyone can walk in or out of the building. One of the doors to the outside literally would not close. We shoved it and it refused to shut. - They advertise free breakfast but had no food. After reading reviews, it appears it has been this way for a while. Not that I would have eaten anything they served anyway, based on how they treat cleanliness in the rest of the building. - If you are interested in getting a high, just stand in the back hallway. You’ll easily get a secondhand buzz. - We only stayed for one night because there were no other options, but if we passed through Iron Mountain again and this was the only option available, we will sleep in the car. - When the manager was told about these issues, he merely smiled and nodded his head, and said nothing. - I could go on, but I think I have mad

Worst experience I have ever had at any hotel or motel ever. There was filth and mold throughout my room and in entire building. Any positive review of this place has had to have been paid for or done by a family member/ friend. No heat in my room, they gave me a space heater. I had to get blankets out of my car to put over the bedding. I refused to take a shower, again, filth everywhere and towels stained. I would have left but it was late and had nowhere else to go. This place should be condemned. I am actually calling someone at the city of Iron Mountain to go out and see this for themselves. Avoid this hotel and don’t believe the good ratings on the internet. I don’t write many reviews but this needed to be said. They do not serve breakfast, false advertising. I wouldn’t have eaten it anyway after seeing how they run this business.

First impression was as the place was dirty, smells terrible throughout the property. In the room the HVAC looks like a crime scene and smells like it too. The window was broken, no toilet paper holder in tbe bathroom, just a roll on the counter. Toilet ran constantly, water to the toilet had been turned off and the owner/manager actually came and knocked on the door to tell us to turn it back on. The floor between the beds had some sort of spill that had not been cleaned up. One of the pillows had blood stains on it visible through the pillow case. I am sure there was more but this was likely the worst room I have ever paid to stay in and the service was terrible from the moment of check in. Definitely should have stayed up the road at a nicer place.
