The staff is great, but the hotel needs more work.
I had no hot water for showers during most of my week-long stay, in two different rooms (I was moved over the weekend for unrelated plumbing problems effecting the ninth floor).
The WiFi is iffy, and slow.
The refrigerator in my room was connected to the same circuit as the overhead light- so you can have cold food and light, or darkness and spoiled food.
They’re doing work on improvements- for example, they replaced the carpet in the elevators while I was there.
But I’d wait a while before returning.

There was little to no hot water for washing hands/face and shower. When mentioned this during check out, the person at the front desk offered a free coffee.
Secondly, the TV would turn off or go blank during the course of a show. I am assuming the TV was motion censored but it would have been nice to be warned about it and provided instructions on how to turn off this feature.

I expected much more from this place for $140.00 a night. The bed was hard as a brick, the sink faucets leaked from the handles when turned on, I started getting bit by something when I sat down in the chair, and there was no hot water lol. Many parts of the room were just dingy. No included breakfast btw. For a "luxury" hotel, it ******. The app is not letting me add pictures, but I have them.

This property is dated (the baseboards are coming away from the walls in several areas) but the overall cleaniness & attention to detail is outstanding. The TWO things keeping this from being a glowing review were the breakfast buffet (underwhelming, unseasoned, cold, & overpriced) and the bar - a moscow mule is supposed to be made w/ ginger beer not ginger ale. If the bartender didn't have ginger beer, he should have asked before substituting for ginger ale.
Also, teach your bartenders how to make a sazerac!
