Facilities: There are parking spaces, restaurants and bars, but there is no area for walking;
Sanitation: Overall good;
Environment: The location is relatively remote, a bit far from the attractions on the island.
Service: The hotel front desk service is good. In addition to informing various precautions, they also help with luggage. The service level of the restaurant is uneven, some are very professional, and some are just so-so.
In general, compared with the high price of the hotel (more than 300 pounds per night in this season), the cost performance is not high. Maybe the higher the expectations, the more disappointed.

The hotel is right at the entrance of Sky Island, opposite the sea view. The room facilities are new, clean and tidy. The most important thing is that all the staff in the hotel are super enthusiastic and help us answer all our questions. The beans for dinner and breakfast are awesome! Highly recommend everyone to stay here!

The Duisdale is a beautiful hotel, and the staff are really friendly. The rooms are large and nicely appointed.

The hotel was clean, but on arrival we were greeted with a strong artificial fragrance. There is no lift and bedrooms are on two upper floors. We travelled as a group of 11 and booked 2 nights in 6 rooms, including dinner. The ambience in the dining room was cold and sadly the staff seemed to have had no training. Fawlty Towers springs to mind in the dining room! (except it was not funny for long, or even for a second night!). We had pre-ordered a fixed 3 course dinner. We were still waiting for our wine when the desert arrived on the first evening. Then there was no white wine or champagne chilled and we had to wait whilst it was put in the freezer for 20 minutes! The situation changed on the second evening as we were offered the wine list and chosen wines upon sitting at our table at the time booked, and we were duly served with our drinks. Our meal did to arrive however until we had been seated for a whole hour. When one of our party discreetly questioned this, we were advised that it was because they had a full dining room! When asked for a recommended local gin at the bar, a whiskey was offered! In short, this establishment does not deserve the 4 AA stars it boasts and needs to train inexperienced staff in restaurant etiquette. They rely on being one of the first establishments after leaving the ferry to the island and clearly do not count on guests returning for a second time!

A briiliant wee hotel on Skye. The reception was friendly and efficient, and all the staff were welcoming. The food was great and the room spacious. We will definitely use again.

We popped in for lunch based on a recommendation by a local on the Ferry from Mailiag. Although we were the only non-guest people having lunch we were treated warmly and had a lovely light lunch in a beautiful setting. M's playing the piano in the lounge was appreciated.
