A very characterful country cottage belonging to a hideaway off the tourist circuit. Able to experience the authentic British rural living environment, a self-driving round-the-island in-depth tour is suitable

Enjoyed our visit to the pub and breakfast at the hotel . Service in the pub was excellent. Ashley the young lass with long blond hair in plats was a joy. Professional and kind and a huge smile. She couldn’t do enough for my husband and myself. Again at breakfast she efficient and approachable. Full marks young lady 🤩

The pictures don't do this place justice. Absolutely beautiful place to stay and staff was great! They had great food, views and soaking tubs. If you are on the Isle of Skye, this is where you want to stay. They had comfortable beds and a great menu selection. Even has a bar!

Nous avons testé 4 petits hôtels lors de notre road trip en Ecosse et l’Eilean Iarmain est sans contexte celui que nous avons préféré. On est déjà sous le charme à l’arrivée, devant l’environnement (au bord de l’eau), et la jolie architecture de l’hôtel. Nous avions une suite familiale et là encore, petit effet wahou à la découverte du duplex (vu sur le loch), décoré avec beaucoup de goût et très confortable. Nous avons également testé le resto, rien à dire, malgré nos a priori de français face à la gastronomie britannique, force est de reconnaître que nous avons très bien mangé (nos ados également!). Pour finir, un mot également sur l’équipe très accueillante et chaleureuse, mention spécial pour notre petite serveuse Emily, très pro et sympathique (bon courage pour son apprentissage du français!). Nous recommandons chaudement l’adresse et espérons avoir l’occasion d’y revenir un jour!

Sensational food served in the warmly welcoming pub exceeded our expectations. The venue is beautifully located, immaculately kept and relaxingly comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. I'd especially like to commend Mary for outstanding customer service and whom my visiting friend called joyful to meet. I'm so glad we chose this venue for a celebration meal and would give our highest recommendation and thanks to the staff and compliments to the excellent chef. Thank you x

I can't think of another hotel where I've sat outside with a dram and watched a golden eagle soaring high above us, on a heading for Knoydart. I have just returned from our annual four night trip to the Eilean Iarmin Hotel where we were looked after admirably by the staff, particularly Mary who made dining such a colourful experience. The rooms are comfortable and the food excellent and the hotel's location provides a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Skye's busy roads. With two log fires burning, the hotel has retained a homely character, rarely found in the world of corporate hotels. For me, it compliments the Skye experience. Highly recommended.

We traveled through Scotland via car, counter clockwise. This was absolutely the best accommodations, food, pub, staff and area. What a blessing that we were given, The Fairy Room. The breakfast was most delicious. Big shout out to the beautiful lady at the front desk for being so patient with me via phone & for the anniversary drinks. Thanks so much!
