This is a great experience, must do if you are in the area, excellent for couples. The rooms are elegantly restored, keeping original materials for the most part, mixing it with luxurious furniture.

Cet endroit est le plus merveilleux de tous les hôtels quatre etoiles et plus dans lesquels j’ai séjourné durant un périple de trois semaines à travers l’Italie. C’est un havre de bonheur et de paix. Un paradis hors du temps ou l’épure est un luxe. Le bon goût une culture.

Abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti ed è stata la miglior scelta che potessimo fare per regalarci relax, pace e silenzio immersi nell’atmosfera unica di Sextantio. Stanza meravigliosa con tutti i confort, colazione divina con ogni ben di Dio, personale disponibile e molto accogliente. Viaggiavamo con un cane che è stato accolto ovunque dalla stanza ( dove ci hanno fatto trovare una box con diversi gadget per il pet che ha molto gradito) , passando per il Il Cantinone, fino alla Locanda. Davvero esperienza unica che consiglio a chiunque voglia ritagliarsi qualche giorno per rigenerarsi e che spero di poter rifare prima o poi.

This hotel is in an old Medieval town fron the 1500's. There is some restoration going on in the town, but it doesn't interfere with any plans. The room is an old wall house. It has stone walls, floors and fireplaces. I chose the room with a small terrace, and a living room. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. There is a large soaking tub, in the bathroom, but no shower. Be prepared to use the rinsing pot provided. It brings you back to the day. There is an excellent hair dryer. Not much in amenities, so bring your own, but hey it's the 1500's! The restaurant serves a great breakfast and dinner was outstanding. I loved the whole Medieval neighborhood. I chose a guide, but you can easily walk the town and discover it yourself, but the guide holds the key to the tower, which is the only way in and up to the top for the beautiful view.

Siamo tornati a Sextantio a 16 anni di distanza: è stata, nuovamente, un'esperienza meravigliosa e indimenticabile! Personale estremamente accogliente e dedicato, struttura molto ben curata, servizi hosting ineccepibili, cena e prima colazione ricche e gourmand, quiete e silenzio totali. Inoltre la Direzione, sapendo che ci saremmo recati lì per festeggiare i nostri compleanni, ci ha fatto trovare in camera una bottiglia di vino rosso buonissima! In sintesi, un'esperienza imperdibile!

Ottima esperienza. Non il classico week end fuori porta. Il borgo ha delle aree già ristrutturate ed altre da completare ma ha comunque dei piccoli negozi dove acquistare dei prodotti locali. La camera da letto è in "vecchio" stile, con gli arredi antichi e con il cammino (che puoi accedere senza grossi problemi). La colazione è ricca di chicche del territorio (sia salato che dolce).

Questo luogo è molto più di un albergo diffuso… gli alloggi rispecchiano l’antica cultura del posto e hanno comunque tutti i comfort, oltre a prodotti da noi particolarmente apprezzati, come il sapone all’olio d’oliva e un liquore allo zafferano. Il personale è accogliente, professionale e disponibile ad ogni necessità. La colazione presso la Locanda sotto gli archi spettacolare, con prodotti tipici del territorio (non perdetevi per alcuna ragione al mondo la ricotta!!!). Torneremo sicuramente alla prima occasione.

Eine wirklich spezielle Erfahrung! Das Leben wie im Mittelalter wird hier gelebt - man hat praktisch ein ganzes Dorf in ein Hotel verwandelt und die Zimmer sind praktisch einzelne Häuschen. Das Frühstück ist überwältigent an Vielfalt und Frische. Am Abend werden im Restaurant bei gemütlicher Atmosphäre traditionelle Gerichte serviert - unbedingt ausprobieren!
