Taksim Terrapia Hotel

Very tiny hotel and room. But its proximity to Shisane metro station and walking distance to tunel train. It's also very near to the popular Istikla street is good. The rooftop breakfast area offers a nice view of the sea. Isa, one of the staff was very helpful with information too.

The place is nice, beautiful view, that is all. Room is too small, when we are tired from walking, can’t sit in room, no place. Toilet door can’t fully open. All furniture too old. In case you are looking only good view, will just ok. We will not back and not recommend this place.

I enjoyed my stay at Taksim Terrace Hotel. The location was excellent with the metro only a few meters away. There were an abundance of restaurants and cafés nearby. The Galata Tower was also very close and the area was generally clean and interesting. The hotel itself was small but cozy. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast, albeit the same each day, was nice. If you like meat slices, cheese, salad and bread, then you'll enjoy the breakfast. The room was warm and comfortable, especially the bed. It was also very well sound-proofed. Great for sleeping. I was a bit disappointed with the room amenities though, as there was only soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and 2 small containers of water which were not replenished. Fortunately, there is a convenience store very close by that sells big bottles of drinking water for a reasonable price. The only other thing I didn't like was that the shower was clogged. Only one person could shower at a time as the water could flow over onto the floor. This meant the second person needed to wait about an hour to shower after the first person. All things considered, the hotel was pleasant and I left there happy and well-rested.

Excellent hospitality and super friendly staff. We got our room upgraded for free. The location is near tourist attractions and there are plenty of restaurants around.
