Itacare Eco Resort

Older hotel in need of renovation. Dark and what impressed me most was the smell of mold, both in the room and in the room next to the reception. Good breakfast. We stayed in the apartments furthest from reception, which is a hassle. They say it has a sea view. Yes, there is a view, but it's quite far away... it's quite small. And to get to these apartments, the number of steps is huge. Anyone who has a knee problem can't risk it. The first night we ordered dinner. It took so long that we asked to cancel. We were told it was already coming, however, my dish came and my husband's didn't. After waiting 15 minutes, we gave up and left without dinner. The waitress who served us, very friendly and helpful, even took the meal to our room, but we didn't accept it, as it was late. Anyway, we stayed two nights and these were the impressions we had.

Excellent experience... starting with the suite facilities... cleanliness... and the very beautiful view. Suite has excellent Wi-Fi, which never failed. The smart TV with streaming channel options was also very interesting. SERVICE for ALL employees is a chapter in itself. Sensational. Very attentive... they work happily. Special highlights for Thainara, Josimar and Rosa.

Terrible hotel, should never be called a resort. Upon arrival no one greeted us, after going to reception no one showed us where to find the rooms, no one offered help with our luggage. 95% of the employees were in a bad mood, the swimming pool was destroyed, the restaurant got the order wrong, they didn't apologize, they made an ugly face when requesting a change of dish. Only one pool towel per stay, even on a different day you have to pay to change it. Bathroom had a faulty flush and they didn't change our room, nor did they call someone to check, we had to wait until the end of the second day for them to fix it. Hotel needs urgent renovation, and training in good manners and education for employees.

Terrible From the day I entered until I left there were problems every day. I asked for filter water after dinner on the first day after drinking caipirinhas, dinner (the dishes costing more than 100 reais individually), they said they could only give it from the tap and that the risk of this would be my responsibility. The food was always bad, tough meat was overcooked, poorly seasoned, cold, and it even gave the impression that the fries had been reheated from another time. cleaning of areas very poorly done! The bathtub in the room that exists in the description does not exist. When complaining to the manager, the response was that the owner is removing the bathtubs from the room because the guests were saying that the bathtub was unhygienic. (Probably due to the lack of cleaning of all the places) Tents and chairs on the beaches looked like they hadn't seen a cloth in weeks. The gym doesn't even have paper towels to clean other people's sweat from the equipment. I don't even recommend it to enemies.

our room faced the forest, birds singing, cicadas singing. We love it! no mosquitoes in the room, we loved it. Room with a delicious balcony, with chairs and great care for the guest, clothesline!! In the bathroom, l'occitane au brésil shampoo, what a treat! Beautiful beach, beautiful forest, natural pool with fish in the rocks. We were very well looked after. While we were there, live music every day, excellent! I highly recommend it!

A terrible experience at the ECO RESORT restaurant at dinner on 01/25/2024, the worst of all my trips. They served me spoiled food (Hake fillet in shrimp sauce with vegetables), I ended up eating half of it thinking it would be some different herb or vinegar, but I asked for the dish to go back to the kitchen and they told me that the food was spoiled! I felt sick and almost vomited on the table. And to make matters worse, the salad arrived very bad, missing items and without seasoning, and we left almost 3 hours after arriving without even serving the juices we ordered, a lack of care in an expensive restaurant. Terrible service, I don't recommend it!

Positive points: The place is beautiful, direct contact with nature, breakfast with lots of options and toys for the children. Negative points: The hotel needs to have a more varied menu considering that it is not so close to the city and they need to be more careful with mold on the cushions in the common area.

It's not a resort, it's a scam. Hotel very poorly located, about 5km on a dirt road from BA-001. And about 30 minutes from the center of Itacaré. The hotel offers a transfer, charging 75 reais each way, to take you to the road. It's ridiculous. Upon arriving at the hotel, it was very poorly maintained, poorly cleaned, only one restaurant with bad and expensive food. There are no morning and afternoon snack options for young children (fruit, for example). Copa baby is completely open to the bush, and very poorly sanitized, disgusting microwave and no filtered water available. The hotel has zero accessibility for walking with a stroller, it is full of climbs, descents or stairs. Bathroom in our room, moldy, very poorly maintained and there is no insect screen, and because it is a forested area, there is no way to leave the window open. Breakfast, horrible, it looks like they put everything left over from the end of the day in a bakery. French bread always hard. Dry cakes. Swimming pool, dirty, disgusting water, poorly maintained, I refused to go in and put my daughter in it. In short, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and even worse because they deceive people using the name "resort". The beach is not private as they say on the website, it is shared with the hotel next door. And the photo of a very beautiful pool that appears on their Instagram is actually from the hotel next door, meaning they treat their guests like *****as. Pool towel is charged. There is a charge of 20 reais to take food to the room. Grumpy and impatient employees, but I don't blame them, as it must be horrible to work in a place like that.
