Our high expectations were exceeded by the idiosyncratic sophistication of the place, the quirky hospitality of the hosts and the refined scrumptiousness of the meals (do take up the offer of home cooking). Owner Tanya is a jewel, and so is the Mani.

Hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly and take really care of their guests. Just an example: when they took note that I loved the pears I got one day for breakfast, they not only got in touch with the dealer who sells the pears from time to time on the market, but also gave me some pears for my trip back. And of course they had a lot of excellent advice on the best beaches, restaurants, etc.

Είναι λίγες οι φορές που το πρώτο ξάφνιασμα με την άφιξη σε ένα ξενώνα, σε πλημμυρίζει με ένα αίσθημα ικανοποίησης και αρχοντιάς. Η οικογένεια Σέψα ανασκεύασε ένα πυργόσπιτο του 18ου αιώνα σε ένα φιλικό και ωραίο χώρο, με άνετα δωμάτια, με μία βεράντα/μπαλκόνι με καταπληκτική εικόνα του ορίζοντα, με ωραίο φαγητό και με μία ενημερωμένη κάβα κρασιών. Εύγε στους δημιουργούς για το αποτέλεσμα του ξενώνα CITTA dei NICLIANI, στο ταλέντο και στο μεράκι τους. Παρόμοια καταλύματα βοηθούν το τουριστικό προϊόν να ανέβει δύο τρία σκαλοπάτια στην κλίμακα των προσφερόμενων υπηρεσιών του τουρισμό στην χώρα μας.

A true boutique hotel that pays attention to every last detail. We were made to feel so welcome at this family run hotel. They cater for all needs and nothing was too much trouble. The food is fine dining sourced locally with many homemade elements such as bread, ice cream and cake. Beautiful surroundings in a traditional Maniot tower - very relaxing. Highly recommended.

An impressive hotel inside some old restructured towers in the heart of Mani peninsula. We tried to book online for 3 nights, but there was limited availability, so we decided to call and finally we found our room. When we arrived we were greeted by Zaira, who was our nice host and provided us with a free upgrade to a larger room with veranda. The location was very nice and cozy, with a beautiful garden and the family owners made us feel like at home, helping in any possible way. As this was an old settlement, there are some small stone roads and steps to reach you room. There is also a small restaurant, with a nice wine cellar, that we tested every evening. Plates were excellent with great quality food. Thanks to Zaira and her family for one of our best stays in Peloponnese.

Το Casa Dei Nicliani είναι ένα μέρος σπάνιας ομορφιάς, αισθητικής και ποιότητας. Ένα πέτρινο πυργόσπιτο του 18ου αιώνα, υποδειγματικά ανακαινισμένο, με θέα στο πιο εμβληματικό τοπίο της Μάνης, με τους πύργους και τα ελαιόδεντρα. Η αυλή είναι υπέροχη με τεράστιες βουκαμβίλιες, κάκτους, πιθάρια και ήρεμες σκιερές γωνιές κάτω από τα δέντρα. Παντού κυριαρχεί η ομορφιά και η γαλήνια ατμόσφαιρα μιας άλλης εποχής. Το δωμάτιό μας, το Premium Private Veranda, πολύ άνετο, ευρύχωρο, πεντακάθαρο, με αναπαυτικά στρώματα, μεγάλο μπάνιο, υπέροχα χαρακτικά στους τοίχους και μια σκιερή βεράντα. Εμφανής η προσοχή στην κάθε λεπτομέρεια. Το φαγητό του κυρίου Ηλία καταπληκτικό. Η γεύση, το άψογο μαγείρεμα, αλλά και η ποιότητα στην πρώτη ύλη παραπέμπει σε εστιατόριο υψηλών προδιαγραφών, όπως άλλωστε και η κάβα με κορυφαία κρασιά από όλο τον κόσμο. Το πρωινό επίσης άψογο. Το σημαντικότερο όμως ήταν η ευγένεια, ο επαγγελματισμός και η ζεστασιά των ιδιοκτητών. Άνθρωποι βαθιά πολιτισμένοι, ομιλητικοί, πολυταξιδεμένοι και ταυτόχρονα πολύ απλοί και φιλικοί. Μας έδωσαν πολύτιμες πληροφορίες για εκδρομές στην ευρύτερη περιοχή, που μας βοήθησαν να γνωρίσουμε την αυθεντική Μάνη, μακριά από τις πεπατημένες τουριστικές διαδρομές. Η γλυκύτατη κυρία Τάνια και η κόρη τους Ζαϊρα μάς έκαναν να αισθανθούμε σαν να είμαστε φιλοξενούμενοι σε καλούς φίλους. Υπέροχη εμπειρία σε όλα τα επίπεδα. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα και ελπίζω να επιστρέψω σύντομα.

What an amazing place! The owners are the best hosts, the hotel rooms have been superbly decorated sand the food is excellent. A home away from home. Our host gave us a map, highlighting the best beaches and sightseeing. The hotel is super quiet, so after a blissful sleep you can look forward to the best breakfast ever.

We stayed here before Covid and loved the place. Decided to visit again hoping that the standards had remained as good and they certainly have. It remains so calm and peaceful that you can not fail to relax. The food, both breakfast and evening meals, are first class and we opted for the half board which is great value for money. The family take the role of hosts very seriously which means that they are warm and friendly but, at the same time, always professional and attentive. Everywhere you look there is fabulous attention to detail to make ones stay memorable. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
