I have never stayed in a worse hotel in Japan. No documents are required to check in, there is no one to take luggage, there is no hot water in the room, and the public bathroom can only be entered at designated points. There is basically no WiFi signal. The most important thing is that the service attitude is very poor, even if you ask for a toothbrush, you won't be given one. We didn't close the faucet in the shower properly. It was definitely not intentional. They didn't check and clean themselves. After a day of bleeding, they put a sticker on the door to scold us. It was really weird.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Izu-Kogen Station. Take the south exit and you can call the hotel. The room is relatively large and has a shared toilet and bathing pool (reservation required). In short, the price/performance ratio is relatively good!

A Japanese-style B&B with a history of more than 80 years and passed down through four generations [Ito Plateau Hinodeya Ryokan] This is a trustworthy B&B. I added the hotel’s WeChat account before departure. The owner’s service is very warm and considerate. Our scheduled pick-up time at noon was advanced one day. We arrived at the station in 1 hour, contacted the boss via WeChat (he would pick us up in a few minutes), and then sent us to Omuro Mountain, and told us to contact him if necessary. We returned to the hotel without seeing him at 6pm, and the waiter Ms. Lin (*********) took the initiative to contact us. When the boss knew that we were dining at [Honjia Xiwuwu], which is 1.2 kilometers away from his home, he came to the restaurant to pick us up (he told the waiter Because the road out of the restaurant is downhill), I was instantly moved! The hotel meals are prepared by the owner's parents, and the Japanese style is very rich; the free yukata is also very beautiful, and the shoes are constantly disinfected. Although it is a public bathroom, it is well equipped and hygienic and refreshing; the Japanese tatami is very clean, and the room is spacious. Small, choose according to your needs; the leisure area can play games, read books and watch TV, free coffee and massage chairs, and also have a kitchen. Most of the people staying here are Chinese and Hong Kong people. I hope everyone should pay attention to being quiet when checking in so as not to disturb others.

Although it is a bit uphill, it is not strenuous at all (I didn't contact the hotel in advance and just wanted to walk by myself). The hotel is a typical Japanese house. It has its own parking lot in front of the door, which can park about eight or nine cars. The hotel is probably run by the owner's family. When we arrived, an old lady greeted us. She introduced the hotel facilities to me very warmly and carefully, and helped us choose pajamas and slippers. Later, I met the boss, an uncle in his fifties, who was even more enthusiastic and considerate. We provide parent-child transportation to Kinosaki Coast and Mt. Omuro. Chinese people can add the boss's WeChat account to contact the boss for pick-up on the return trip after visiting the attractions. It was a cloudy day when we went to Mount Omuro. We took three umbrellas and put them in the trunk at the hotel entrance. The boss took them out one by one, opened them and checked that they were OK before putting them back in (kudos to the boss for his carefulness). Breakfast is an authentic Japanese breakfast, very unique, and the fried fish is delicious. The three-person economy room we stayed in was 25-30 square meters in visual inspection, which was very spacious. The entire hotel is very clean, especially the bathroom, which is amazingly clean. There is no problem with the shared bathrooms and toilets. The bathrooms are one big and one small. Scan the QR code in the room to book a time, and then you can take a nice hot bath in the clean and tidy bath. In short, I look forward to my next in-depth visit to the Izu Peninsula.
